The aura in this place is so inviting. The young lady that helped us explained everything in increments so that we'd understand the process. We didn't drink, but i see that you may have wine. We had a great time. My sister and me enjoyed it so much.
Meh. I wasn’t impressed. The plants didn’t look as healthy as I was expecting. I know it’s cold now but a real green thumb would have them thriving. The customer service was not that great. They greet you then stay at the register having the best conversation among themselves (what a fun job). Not a vibe here.
As an out-of-state visitor, I did research to find a plant shop like this in Richmond, and I am so glad I did! PlantHouse is a huge store with so many beautiful things to see. The staff were helpful, and I was impressed by the great prices on plants and pots. In addition to a fantastic selection of plants, they also have a wide variety of cute gifts and accessories. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves plants, and of course I even found a little souvenir (a new plant) to take home with me.
I am not a plant person, but I went with someone who is very much a plant person and she really was impressed by their collection of plants. Besides, having really interesting plants, they have a really good group activity for a date activity or a birthday party activity of making your own atrium. They have fun things that you can put in these glass containers with plants and different decorations. Very neat store.
Absolutely the best experience ever. I took my 10 year old son he said “mom this was a good day” I wasn’t sure how he would like it but he did! Staff was more than friendly and helpful. One of the employee accidentally spilled my sons Terrarium he felt so bad he ran over to the table with my son to help fix it as well as helped him pick out a cactus. His kindness did not go unnoticed. I wish I got his name. For the terrarium building there are so many different styles to pick from all reasonably priced. They have plenty of different rock and sand to decorate with as well as many examples to look at. Mimosas were offered which was an amazing bonus. The space is small but you are spread out to distance. Gloves are given to keep everything clean. There is usually a line outside but it’s more than worth it . We will be back!
