Absolutely love getting my hair done with Kayleigh, she knows so much and can always does an amazing job cutting, coloring, and styling my hair. I’ve been going to Poppy and Rod for a few years and I can’t imagine a better salon!! Love the way I feel and look after a good haircut, can’t beat her expertise!!
I have always struggled with getting good haircuts with my wavy/curly hair (2B or 2C) and fine hair shafts. My old stylist was alright but I wanted to see what else was out there and try something different. I really liked the styles I saw from Jules on Instagram so I booked an appointment with her. I have never left a hair salon so happy. She did such an amazing job. The first place I went afterwards a lady stopped me to complement my hair. I noticed so many people looking at my hair and smiling at me the rest of the day. This place is fantastic and Jules is a master of her craft!
I have been going to Poppy&Rod for several years now and I will never trust my hair with anyone else! Jules is amazing! I like to mix up my hair styles and every time I come in with a new idea she gives me exactly what I am looking for. She knows I am low maintenance and gives me cuts that don't need a lot of work put in and yet still look beautiful! Jules is simply the best and I would recommend her to anyone!
I have been going to Poppy & Rod for 4 years and my hair has never looked better in my life! They have an incredibly talented and eclectic crew of stylists. The salon is such a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space. It’s a real gift to have such a great locally-grown business in our community.
I love going to see Erin, I always leave the salon looking fantastic! and everyone else I see leave the salon look amazing! All the stylists there are so nice, and the salon is beautiful. I love having fantasy colors and Erin has always done such a wonderful job! I wanted a very layered hair cut but I wanted to keep my long hair, it's almost down to my waist, everyone has told me that was not possible. Not Erin, she said "got it!" and then did it. I can't stop raving about how I look. The only problem I have with the Salon is I have yet to meet their Salon Floor Manager, Blanche. I guess that is probably a good thing, I love dogs and would have a hard time focusing on my hair with a pretty puppy running around. In all seriousness, I have gone 3 times, twice to get color and a separate time to get my hair cut. I have made appointments for both my boys (7 years old and 14 years old) to get hair cuts and for my oldest to get some fun colors. I could not be happier and can not stop recommending Poppy and Rod to my friends. Just remember, you get what you pay for and I am happy I spent every penny! The pictures in the purple shirt was from my first color and the pictures in the Poppy and Rod cape and the blue shirt are from this last visit. Thank you Erin!
