This was such a fun experience. We brought our 13 year old and he rocked it. Neo and Hugo were great. We already booked our next puzzle break!
We did the Puppeteer’s Workshop and it was a great time! Sinnie was our Host and guided us wonderfully through the rules and introducing the room and vibe to us. Dane was our Game Master and was our awesome eyes (and voice!) in the sky! We got gentle leading when we needed clarification but otherwise he knew to trust that we would ask if and when needed. We made it on the monthly best board! So fun!
This was our first visit to Puzzle Break and it was lovely! We did the puppeteer room which had a delightful collection of puzzles and a great atmosphere! This is a room that has thoughtful little touches and props everywhere. There is so much to see and look at that you will be distracted from the puzzles by all the cool artistic props, displays and art. The game masters, Riley and Sinnie, were wonderful to work with, they had a great humor and answered all our questions. They let us have unlimited hints if we wanted but were not pushy at all. We really appreciated the personalized touches and attention to our needs. Also, the lounge room has a ton a puzzles and cool things to look at while you wait for your room. Puzzle Break was about $35 a person which made it much more affordable than some rooms and the offer a repeat customer discount if you book another room before you leave. The offer is good for one year so it is pretty easy to take advantage of if you are in the area. Also, the proximity to Pikes Place Market is great for lunch or a stroll through downtown which makes it a real treat when you are visiting from out of town.
We had an amazing experience at Puzzle Break with Riley and Mason! From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized, welcoming, and fun. The room was thoughtfully designed, creative, and struck a great balance between challenging and exciting. Riley and Mason were excellent hosts — clear with instructions, upbeat, and very attentive. They gave hints at just the right moments, helping us stay engaged without taking away the satisfaction of solving the puzzles ourselves. The experience was immersive, fast-paced, and full of those great “aha!” moments that made it memorable for our whole group. We left energized and already talking about which room we want to try next. Highly recommend Puzzle Break — and if you’re lucky enough to have Riley and Mason, you’re in fantastic hands!
Update: We tried the Mystic Manor today with Neo as our host and Andy as our game master! They were also amazing and the room was super fun again! This place is awesome! ====== By far it's the best Escape room we have been to!!! We went for the Puppeteer's Workshop and it was sooo interactive! Amazing props, excellent story, and the room had so much attention to detail! We loved out host Mason and our gamemaster Dane! Very friendly, patient (we needed😅), and super super helpful! The whole experience was excellent! We had so much fun!! Looking forward to exploring other rooms soon!
