Jamey is incredible. She turned the skirt from my wedding dress into a beautiful jacket and now I can continue to wear it for years to come. She was a great collaborative thought partner as we figured out how to best upcycle this piece and keep some of its character. She was extremely communicative throughout the process and I am just in love with the finished product. Highly recommend this business.
Jamey is absolutely incredible. I’m so grateful for finding her! Jamey’s vibes were just what I was looking for and I knew I could trust her and her craft to alter my wedding dress! My dress had a tricky and intricate bust that she re-worked at least 4-5x during our appointments, and she managed to keep the design of the bust without taking away too much. My dress fit like a glove and the alterations were perfect. Can’t recommend her enough!

Jamey is THE BEST. When I bought my dress I truly had no idea how to decide on a seamstress and was recommended Jamey. I went with her and couldn't have been happier. I guarantee you will love her. She is incredibly funny, talented, and cares so much about her craft. She goes above and beyond in every aspect. I even had a late addition of a jacket and she altered it to fit perfectly. If you're unsure of who to go with, I cannot express enough that you will not go wrong with her.
Jamey did the alterations for my wedding gown and did an amazing job. She is super knowledgeable and knows how to bring your vision to life. I was so happy with how my dress turned out and how confident it made me feel on my wedding day. Brides please use Richmond Sewing you won’t be disappointed!
