Great selection, friendly staff. Jake had me in and out with everything I needed quickly and was very helpful. This is now my favorite aquarium shop in town!
This is the only fish store I go to in Austin. There's nothing wrong with the other stores, the other 2 main stores are good but the owner here is really helpful and doesn't mind giving you good advise or trying to help you in other ways to succeed in this hobby. If I'm gong to spend my money locally, its going here.
I’ve gotten all of my fish from here and never once had an issue personally. They were always healthy and adapted rather quickly. From the time they hit the tank, they were eating. And even as long winded, and a much of a talker as I can be, they were always really nice to me, I know I can be eccentric at times. I will continue getting any fish needed from here.
We love going to River City Aquatics. The facility is clean and well organized, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner is awesome. He always takes the time to answer my questions and give insight and advice for my tank, corals, and fish. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed.
Received my adorably healthy axolotl!! I ordered from their website and it was easy. They offered FREE delayed shipping (Christmas gift)!!! I received my tracking number and even a sneak preview photo of my little guy. It arrived very well packaged in a cooler with a cold pack. My daughter is gonna go nuts for her gift ❤️ Thank you!!
