OMG, forget going to Japan (actually don't, you should go) this place is fun in your mouth. The sushi is so fresh. Its the best i have ever tasted in NJ!! And best delivery. I am now addicted. I had to call and give my compliments, Helena picked up and she was so delightful also. No wonder the food is so good, the people care and have high standards. The ginger was sensational. I called mid-meal and writing this before I even finished. You want amazing sushi RUN to this place, or just be lazy because its cold out and order from Uber Eats. I'll have to make an appearance and try more.
I’ve been ordering from this place for months. But not following what the ticket says is ridiculous. I specifically asked for no avocado from my rolls. It’s stated everywhere on the ticket. I received both the rolls I bought with avocado in them. This is unacceptable. As a business you don’t know what dietary or allergy restrictions I might have to not follow what’s clearly stated on the ticket is unacceptable and quite frankly dangerous. $40 down the drain because you’re workers who prepare the food can’t follow simple direction that was clearly stated on the ticket. Also decided to not only put something I didn’t want in my roll in the first place but decided to overload it with it. Follow directions. It was clearly stated on several of the tickets. Absolutely ridiculous.
My son and I went in for dinner and where treated very well by the daughter (waitress) and her mom is the chef./owner Very fresh sushi and sashimi and generous portions. They also have Sapporo and Kirin Lite, (rare to find) Definitely coming back
We came to Samurai Sushi for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The ambiance is great — warm, inviting, and much larger inside than it looks from the outside. The service was amazing and incredibly quick. We were given complimentary edamame, which was perfectly salted and delicious. The miso soup was thick and flavorful, and the strawberry mint lemonade was refreshing and packed with flavor. We also tried the Samurai Bites and Angry Shrimp, both of which were fantastic. I appreciated that the shrimp roll actually had a kick to it! Overall, everything from the food to the service exceeded expectations. Will definitely be back!
Had a great lunch with my friend for my last day in NYC, we wanted nice sushi and we got more than amazing experience here, definitely check the place!
