We dined here on Christmas evening and had an exceptional experience. Despite how busy the restaurant was, our server remained attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout the night. He would pop in on us constantly to see if we needed anything! The food was outstanding from start to finish. The warm bread served at the beginning was so good we had to stop ourselves from eating too much before the meal. We ordered the Surf & Turf for 2 with mac and cheese for our side, and everything was prepared perfectly. The steak was cooked just right, the lobster tail was tender and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was rich and well-seasoned. We ended the evening with the coconut cream cake, which was unique and absolutely delicious. Unlike anything we’ve had elsewhere. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we would happily return. Thank you for making our Christmas dinner memorable.
I’ve always enjoyed dining at Smith & Wollensky and most parts of my recent visit were great the service, the atmosphere, and the rest of the dishes were all solid. However, I was really disappointed with the Wagyu Ribeye. For a steak that costs $150, the experience fell far below expectations. I waited almost an hour for it, and the first one that came out was extremely salty. After sending it back, the replacement steak arrived noticeably undercooked. I had ordered medium, but as you can see, the doneness was nowhere close to what medium should be. I understand mistakes happen, but for a premium priced cut like this, I expect more consistency and attention to detail. I hope the kitchen can take this feedback seriously, because everything else about the meal was wonderful just not the steak, which ironically was supposed to be the highlight.
It was okay overall. I’ve had better steak, but it definitely wasn’t the worst. The seasoning seemed uneven, so the first half of the steak tasted pretty bland. The place was packed on a Wednesday night, and while our server was clearly busy, they only checked in at the very end, and our water sat empty most of the time.
This place is incredible. The food was ridiculously good. The service was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The food, drinks, dessert and service make it worth the money. Will definitely be coming back here soon!
🚨🚨Listen up!!! This is hands down one of the best steakhouses I’ve been to. Our server Susan was absolutely a charm! I typically go to steakhouses weekly and Susan was by far the best. Great conversation, personality, local content sharing etc. she was very attentive to our dinner service. I highly recommend this location for a date night or just a wonderful experience to celebrate yourself.
