Steven Academy is truly one of the most organized and supportive academies I’ve seen. My daughter got help from Steven Academy and Mr. Huh with writing her graduate school essays. Few good points that I want to point out specifically about Steven Academy: 1. Mr. Huh makes a comfortable environment to his students, which help out bring genuine stories to include in the essay. 2. Mr. Huh is pinpoints both the strength and weaknesses of a student and her writing with encouraging words. 3. Even though we did not begin our essays with plenty of time available before the deadline, Mr. Huh effectively used the given time and brought the best result with my daughter's graduate school admission. We really appreciate the help throughout the essay writing process! We recommend this place to anyone for undergraduate or graduate admission.
Steven Academy currently is located in San Francisco but it used to be in Kangnam Daechidong. The school used to be the biggest and most famous in Korea at that time. My first child attended Steven Academy 6 years ago and with the help of the president, Steven Huh, was accepted by one of the Ivy Leagues. Starting last year, my youngest child is attending the school via Zoom, due to the school moving to San Francisco. I was a little worried it being on-line but it was not necessary. The experienced teaching, checking the attendance, solid feedbacks and different tests that you can’t get in regular school. All these made it worth it. I wasn’t really expecting too much from my youngest but watching him improve as time went, I started looking forward to seeing how far he will get.
My younger brother is in 10th grade and took the Homework Help class. He's getting a lot of help with his essays, which are very particular in assignment and difficult for even me to help with. The classes were very reasonably priced too. AS a 10th grader, he's also taking the SAT I intensives class. He takes a full practice test timed as if a real test. He takes classes for 4 hours after that, but he seems to be doing well and doesn't complain about it at all. Our parents are happy that such an experienced test prep institution is helping my little brother. The practice tests he took our parents get as results right after the test in electronic communications. It's all great and very helpful.
