I had an amazing facial with Benita and the entire experience was everything I needed. She was extremely informative, explained each step, and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. The service itself was so relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. You can tell she truly knows her craft. I will absolutely be back to try other services. Highly recommend booking with Benita if you want results and relaxation.

I came to this salon because of the owner's testimony. This salon is beautifully designed and I was treated with a level of respect that is uncommon in this day. I absolutely love Clara, my hair stylist. She is patient and professional. Also, the pedicurist (Alaina) is the bomb! My feet have never felt this good after a pedicure. I will definitely be recommending Salon Chique to my friends and family. I look forward to trying more of the spa services in the future.

The vibe inside is super grown and sexy—definitely gives off those total grown woman feels. And let me tell you about the full-service luxury spa! Whether you’re looking for extended treatments or just a quick refresh, it’s the perfect place to pamper yourself for a full day. I also have to give a shoutout to my favorite stylists, Clara and Whitney. Clara is a total genius when it comes to color and long hair styles—she knows how to keep hair healthy and growing! My hair is always a flex when I come through the door. And Whitney? She’s the go-to for weaves and short styles. She has such a knack for detail and always nails the look women want. Both of them are fantastic at hair restoration and styling, so you know your head is in great hands. Oh, and scheduling is super easy with their online system, which makes booking my next appointment a breeze. If you want to elevate your hair game and treat yourself to some self-care, you absolutely have to check out Studio Chique! 💖✨

I did not have a good experience here & I wanted to so bad :/ I came in 11/7. For starters, I typically am not an advance appt type, and I do things spur of the moment so I did make my appt day of(booked around 10 am, appt was for 2:45p) I live in Baltimore so it was a 70 minute drive. I called prior to arriving to let them know I was going to be 10-15 min late. I called 3 times, no one answered. As soon as the 10 min mark came, they called & I told them I was parking. I checked in with the front desk and they told me to have a seat and wait for my stylist, Whitney. Whitney greeted me, asked what I was looking for & said she doesnt do same day appts. She also said due to me being late she would not be able to service me& doesn’t know how the system allowed me to book it. I told her I drove over an hour & she said she didn’t have time. I understood and left. 5-10 min later, she called back & asked if I still wanted to be seen since I drove so far I said yes. I returned & in about 15 minutes we started the process. I asked for an ash blonde partial highlight or a “money piece”. Once the bleach was applied to my hair I asked Whitney how long it had to stay on. She said “I won’t leave it on longer than 35 minutes.” I looked at the time when she said it & in 30 minutes I told one of the assistants it was starting to burn. Whitney came back over to the shampoo area and said “yeah it’s going to burn because it’s a chemical.” In a very condescending tone. I’m very aware bleach is a chemical. Again it was a last minute appointment so I did probably scratch etc so I kinda ignored the burning because it wasn’t unbearable. I told her I could stand it for a bit and she walked away to continue servicing her other clients. When she returned to wash out the bleach, it had been one hour since it was applied. Well past the 35 minutes she said. After rinsing it out I guess she noticed she got some bleach on an area I didn’t want bleached so she added black dye to that area; without communicating that to me. I had to find this out later from a shampoo girl because she instructed her not to allow “any black” to get into the bleach area. Confused I said what black? I was told “oh she added some black dye because the bleach bled”…my natural hair is very dark brown so it’s not so much the dye that is an issue, however COMMUNICATE with your client. After 5 hours in the salon, i was finally done. Mind you, this was solely for the bleach/color and a blow dry. I didnt request a style & it took 5 hours !! The salon was closing when I left. I also want to make it clear I take very good care of my hair. My home routine consists of deep conditioning regularly, low manipulation, & minimal heat styling. When I came in my hair was about bra strap length. Today is 11/30, so about 3 weeks later. And the area that was bleached that day is about half the length it was before. I truly believe it was left on entirely too long and it’s now severely over processed. I moisturize my hair regularly and I know how to care for color treated hair as I’ve done it in the past. The split ends are so high up and the cuticle just seems completely blown. Like I said I have naturally very dark hair but If the desired color couldn’t be achieved it is ok to tell a client no! I’d respect and appreciate that. Unfortunately, I won’t be a returning client and I normally wouldn’t write a review but after my hairs drastic change in just 3 weeks, I felt I needed to say this. Whitney had a very rude tone, she spoke to the assistants terribly & even complained about late clients messing up the schedule in front of me. The assistants must be used to the way she talks or just put up with it bc they’re all pretty young. I think at the end she said she did give me a discount. Not sure why I didn’t question it. I’ll add, the assistant was very helpful and communicated literally every step. While adding shampoo, conditioner, treatments, etc I wish I remembered her name because she was so thorough and communicated so well. If she ever becomes a stylist I would 100% return as her client.

Not the best silk press I’ve gotten since coming to this salon. I assume everyone in salon had skill so I didn’t mind being passed on to someone else to start my silk press while my stylist that I book finished another client. Did my normal night routine when I get my silk which always last me but woke up and my ends and parts of my hair are fluffing back up making it look like I got a “blowout” which never happens when Whitney does it. A bit disappointed. Next time I’ll like to stick with the stylist that I book from start to finish. Got it done yesterday btw -Alisa F
