Sugarbowl es un restaurante y bar muy querido ubicado en una calle escénica y arbolada cerca de la Universidad de Alberta en Edmonton. Conocido por su ambiente cálido y animado y su comida siempre de excelente calidad, ofrece un menú diverso que incluye favoritos como chili de bisonte, pollo y gofres, huevos benedictinos y sándwiches de cerdo deshilachado. Con porciones generosas, precios razonables y una impresionante selección de cervezas de barril y vinos, es un lugar ideal para brunch, almuerzo, la hora feliz o reuniones informales. El personal amable y atento y toques únicos como palomitas durante la hora feliz lo convierten en un imprescindible para los locales.

Sugar Bowl is one of my favorite places to spend time near the University of Alberta. It’s located on a beautiful, scenic street lined with trees, which makes the atmosphere especially pleasant. The food is consistently excellent. Their appetizers are great, and the pulled pork sandwich is one of my personal favorites. Portion sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the fries are outstanding. They even serve popcorn during happy hour, which is a fun and unique touch I haven’t seen elsewhere. The drink selection is equally impressive. They have an excellent variety of draft beers, and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to explaining different styles. The wine selection is also strong. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. Whether you’re meeting friends, having a casual lunch, grabbing drinks before or after class, or even meeting with a professor, Sugar Bowl is an ideal spot. A must-visit if you’re around the university. It’s been one of my go-to places for years and never disappoints.
Such a quaint brunch spot ! Their eggs benny are so good with sweet cornbread and the burrito was nice and cheesy. The staff all seem happy to be there and greet you with a smile. I loved their chai, highly recommend !
The Benny was excellent. The atmosphere here is stellar and the music level is perfect. I would say that the hash browns were okay, not much difference between the ones you can get at Walmart. This was the only issue. The service was impeccable. They should teach a course to other restaurants.
A local gem, service and food both on par! It’s cheap, affordable and delicious. I ordered bison chili and paired it with a Merlot wine. My boyfriend had Mac and cheese and an ipa beer both were amazing!
Cute breakfast spot, very busy and lively. Service was good nothing too special, food was great. Got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was delicious, the watermelon was also surprisingly very nice with it as well. Iced americano was not good at all but that’s okay… Would definitely come back tho!
