I'm obsessed with SweatDC. Coach Vic was my coach for my first session and I loved her upbeat energy & the fact that she always had a smile on her face. She's happy to help adjust, correct, or modify as needed. The coolest thing is that you'll be too busy having fun to notice that you're getting stronger.
Sweat DC is run and operated by professionals. They're super friendly, motivating and accommodating. I go to their group classes four times a week and see Alex Palmer once a week for personal training and the results are already awesome after a couple months. I hope to be a regular customer for a very long time, I love it there, I'm having fun and getting in shape. And Alex is awesome. Very professional, great personality, and always encourages me to get to new personalities while making sure my form is correct (and safe).
I absolutely love SweatDC! I know I'm going to get a solid workout every time. The classes are well organized, fast/paced and as Hard as you want them to be. The instructors are fantastic, and the community there is so welcoming and supportive. Highly recommend!
I have been going to SWEAT DC H St. for about a year. My trainer is Alex and I highly recommend him. He is an awesome trainer (and no, I’m not his mother…but certainly old enough to be!). He is fun, kind and pushy in exactly the way that we all need a bit of prodding to get out of our comfort zones! Couldn’t be happier! SWEAT is also super flexible and for me (which is awesome since I am only here twice a year for 3 month periods.
I can’t say enough good things about this gym! It’s more than just a place to work out — it’s a community. The energy here is unmatched, and everyone from the trainers to the members are welcoming and supportive. Whether you’re a total beginner or a fitness junkie, the workouts are challenging, empowering, and can be modified to meet you where you're at. The owner has clearly created a space where people of all identities, body types, and fitness levels feel seen and celebrated. It’s such a refreshing change from traditional gyms. You walk in and immediately feel like you belong. I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and more confident since joining — but what keeps me coming back is the people and the vibe. If you’re looking for a gym that lifts you up while it kicks your ass (in the best way), this is it.
