Trying to go see the Nightmare Before Christmas light show has been a nightmare. The first time we tried to go, we drove all the way from Houston to Austin. It was raining on and off but the web site said "dress appropriately because this event will go on rain or shine". When we got to the shuttle lot, we were told it was delayed due to rain, sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes, and were then told it was canceled. Trying to get a refund for all tickets was not easy. Bought flex tickets again last night for tonight as we are working today and the website said that would allow us to enter any time until 10:15. I do not check my email every day but just did and there is one from Texas Performing Arts saying that now the last entry time is 9:00. Seriously? You just arbitrarily change an event time at the last minute? People attending this highly advertised event work, have to schedule things, have to drive distances to attend. Plus you are required to download your ticket to an app you have to install on your phone to show at the shuttle lot and at the entrance and their web site is not allowing me to do that. And when I call them, they say I "should" be able to "just show them your ticket". Do I want to drive all the way to Austin again and not be able to get in again? I am thinking not. Don't think I will be wanting to attend anything this organization is in charge of.
The ticketing experience is a disaster. You're unable to print tickets, unable to view tickets, unable to confirm tickets, unable to do anything with your tickets unless you create an account, find the email on your phone, login on your phone, use the right browser, and add them to your wallet. It's so unnecessarily complicated and specific instead of just letting someone print their tickets or take a screenshot of tickets online
Went to the Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, it was an overpriced event. I paid $41 per ticket and $25 for parking. The light trail was boring and it only lasted 10-15 minutes. It’s not worth the money at all.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Experience! Our group from a retirement community visited the Tim Burton “Nightmare Before Christmas” Light Trail, and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Kourtney and her team went above and beyond in every possible way. They met us upon arrival, assisted with parking, and even provided light-up ghost necklaces so we could safely keep track of residents once it got dark — a thoughtful touch we truly appreciated. Tanya gave us a wonderful guided tour, and when I struggled to push a resident in a wheelchair, Kourtney returned with an electric scooter and personally helped. At the end of the trail, she was there again with snacks for everyone. The amount of kindness, planning, and care that went into our visit was exceptional. Our residents had an amazing time and are still talking about how special it was. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Went to see Kevin Hart last night. Wonderful venue, very very tall. The only thing keeping it from five stars the fact that if you’re in the top seats, it’s like you’re looking six floors down at the spec on the stage. And they have no screens to assist the view.. Otherwise, the many floors separate the crowds . Which is nice.. Again the top floor view feels as though it is looking straight down on the stage
