We had a terrible experience with All Occasions / The 1978 Collection. We started working with them 10 months prior to our wedding, had our contract signed and deposits paid, only to have them pull out 10 days before our wedding. A few weeks before the wedding they introduced thousands of dollars worth of new fees and mandatory site changes that felt arbitrarily unreasonable, or at the very least should have been made clear to us during the previous 10 months of working together. When we tried to explain that these things had not been communicated to us, while concurrently trying to propose other solutions, the conversations quickly became hostile. My family and I felt gaslit and disrespected. During these conversations, All Occasions / 1978 Collection even hinted at there potentially being additional fees that would come after the wedding (!?), and that they didn’t want to have to fight with us over every new fee that could or would be added by their side. I thought we were being Punk’d. Given the tight timeline, we bit the bullet and tried to make it work, agreeing to pay a reduced total of the new fees. When it finally seemed like we came to an agreement, they cancelled the contract on us. That termination occurred 7 days before the scheduled set up date. We were completely blindsided and left scrambling for a new vendor the week before our wedding. They did not even have the courtesy (or respect) to give our wedding planner the heads up before us. Luckily, we were able to find a local vendor who was excellent to work with from start to finish. Not a single one of the alleged site issues or additional fees that AO/1978 sprung on us at the last minute were ever a concern with the new vendor.

We rented ivory chair pads to complement the brown chiavari chairs at our wedding. They looked great and we were happy with their service!

Would never recommend this company. When setting up the tent for our wedding, those setting it up complained amongst themselves about how little they cared about how it looked. To add to that, they forgot the chairs for our wedding on the original delivery truck. Every delivery time they provided for the chairs after that was missed until it got pushed back a full two days after the tent was delivered. It was non stop calls trying to find where the chairs where and when they would be delivered. And now, they have failed to pick up our rentals on the day that was scheduled, upsetting our wedding venue. It was supposed to be picked up on a Monday and was not picked up until Wednesday. Do not use this company. Horrible service.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We used them for a wedding shower. First they were about 3 hours late delivering with zero notification. Also they pretty much convinced us that the tent we ordered would not fit in the location we chose, and wouldn’t set it up. Also we carried everything from the truck in the front of our house to the backyard. The delivery guys did absolutely nothing. They weren’t going to refund us for the tent that was never set up either which was great. Oh and they were supposed to pick the stuff up one day but never showed. When I called the next day to complain she put me on hold and conveniently they showed up as soon as we hung up. Also requested a call back from the supervisor and never received one. They had a total of three different names and phone numbers for us and never ever contacted anyone. All around TERRIBLE service and TERRIBLE communication. You’ve been warned.

Nuestra ocasión fue una gran recepción de boda al aire libre en una propiedad que nunca había albergado una recepción de boda de nuestro tamaño. Jon nos invitó a recorrer su instalación principal y nos mostró cada componente que necesitaríamos para una recepción de boda al aire libre. Además, nos ayudó a tomar las decisiones acertadas sobre todos los elementos necesarios para que se ajustaran a nuestro presupuesto, manteniendo el evento cómodo para nuestros invitados. Esto incluyó cómo elegimos las sillas, las mesas, el tipo y tamaño de la carpa, así como las paredes y los ventiladores para nuestra carpa. Para asegurar que todo fuera perfecto, Jon condujo dos horas hasta nuestro lugar en Erie, PA, para tomar medidas y trabajar con nuestro servicio de catering para disponer y ubicar adecuadamente todas las carpas, mesas y sillas que serían necesarias para el evento. En nuestro día de la boda, todo fue impecable. Como era una propiedad pública, los administradores quedaron tan impresionados con la logística que se empleó para montar todo, manteniendo las operaciones normales para sus visitantes diarios. Los miembros del equipo que montaron la carpa fueron profesionales y extremadamente trabajadores. Respetaron las normas y regulaciones de la propiedad y escucharon todas nuestras directrices sobre la colocación y la posición de las carpas. Todo fue tan perfecto que ni siquiera se notaba que había una carpa de 120’ x 40’ en la propiedad para una recepción de boda! ¡Hemos recomendado a Jon y All Occasions a todos nuestros amigos para cualquier evento personal o corporativo! ¡Gracias a todos por un trabajo tan excelente!
