Ariahnn Turner was great! She was very friendly while giving my hair an amazing wash and steam before a trim and Silk press! I was very nervous about the trim but she kept my length and made my hair look healthy and beautiful!!!
Don’t get your hair done here. Especially by the owner Lavette Navarro. Very dismissive. And not careful with your hair. She’ll tell you one price then try to charge you more by the end of service. I should’ve read the rest of these reviews before getting my hair done here. Super unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and DONT GO HERE. The way she responds to these reviews should let you know everything you need to know about this lady.
She was rude both times I went, i thought maybe the first time was off but this second time she was very dismissive, didn’t care about what she was doing to my hair and this was the result the same day she did it and this was her response via text. My energy was asking about the amount of edge control she put on my hair once she was done because I knew it was too much. But she chose to not put effort into my hair before that. I wasn’t rude i didn’t argue i asked a simple question and here answer was ride just for my edges to look like they do now. If you want someone honest and kind I would not chose this salon, I wanted to start going somewhere so I could start a heathy hair journey, she didn’t even ask what my hair goals were or anything. Professionalism is definitely not there at all, if you don’t mind that, then by all means. I don’t usually leave review but i wish i read all her reviews before I went to her.
The Beauty Bar is a wonderful salon. I found this shop from a young lady working at a store i frequent. The salon has a luxurious and modern touch. It is gorgeous inside. It stays stocked with beverages and light refreshments. The stylist and staff are very friendly and professional. My appointment always starts on time and ends if not on time, before time. I cannot say enough about this beautiful place.
I wish I could give them 5 starts because they do a good job on hair. Unfortunately, they have very bad customer service. I've booked once online, told me the price then at the last minute changed the price because "my hair was long". Ok, fine I did not argue and I paid. Tried to book again but my appointments kept getting canceled with no reason. No one emailed or called me to tell me why so I finally called (after trying to reach someone for days) and they said I can't book that far in advanced. If this is so, why give the option to do this on your website? Also, good customer service would be to call the customer who is trying to book online and let them know why you cancelled their appointment, not just cancel it and ignore the customer completely. I was told that someone would call me to discuss the particular style I needed for my upcoming wedding. I feel for special events, booking ahead of time is a must, especially when you know the business gets very busy and booked quickly. It's been months and no one has ever called me back. I've tried reaching out and no one will respond. I feel this is very rude and not a good way to gain customers. I have no idea why I was treated so disrespectfully. The one appointment I did have went well and I was very pleased with my hair, so the fact that I am being treated like this makes no sense to me at all.
