Mel, Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and candles on our wedding day! We expected our bouquets and boutonnieres to be good, but when we walked down the aisle, we were absolutely floored. The floral arch at our ceremony was stunning and left us in awe. We deeply appreciate all the hard work and attention to detail you put into creating such a breathtaking display. The flowers didn't just wow us—they wowed our guests too! We received countless compliments at the reception on how beautiful and well-arranged the floral and decorations were. From the ceremony to the reception, the flowers and all the candles were a standout highlight of our big day. We can't thank you enough for the stunning arrangements. We felt super relaxed going into our wedding day knowing everything was taken care of by The Design Co team for set up and take down and kept everything organized throughout the day.
Sarah and Mel were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their attention to detail, eye for beauty and coordination skills are unequivocally the best. They went above and beyond in the planning of our wedding day, and on the day of - there is not a single thing they didn’t look after - from helping me last minute when my bridal hairdo became undone, calming a very nervous bride (me) with the help of Sarah’s very zen self and amazing yoga instructor skills, coordinating vendors, music, caterers - making sure we had time to ourselves to sit and enjoy - on top of just being SO friendly and so well liked by all our guests. They thought of every single aspect, and our wedding day was absolutely flawless. I cannot recommend them enough, they truly made our wedding day perfect - we could not have done this without them. Thank you Sarah and Mel, you are wedding planning experts (but also real life angels). 10/10 recommend
Our wedding day was by the far the most special day of our lives. Sarah and Melissa literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. It was truly a magical day. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. We planned a non traditional wedding, and every idea we brought forward was met with an action plan and excitement. They truly thought about everything and my mind was at ease through the entire planning process and day because I knew I was in great hands. Thank you Sarah, Melissa and Design Co. for everything.
Para mi boda, Erin Carmichael (copropietaria y florista) nos proporcionó boutonnières que se marchitaron después de una hora, así que ni siquiera pudimos tomar fotos con ellas. Es muy decepcionante ya que nos cobró $20 por cada boutonnière. Cuando nos quejamos, Stacey (copropietaria) dijo: "las flores son seres vivos y mueren". Cuando le enviamos un correo a Erin algún tiempo después, ella dijo: "Con gusto te reembolsaré" y "Enviaré el reembolso más tarde hoy". Pero después de eso nos ignoró y nunca nos reembolsó, a pesar de varios recordatorios. Mal servicio. Los ramos también se marchitaron después de un par de horas y lucían demasiado tristes para las fotos. Cuando pagas tanto por flores ($125-200 por ramo), quieres poder tomarte fotos con ellas, pero nuestros fotógrafos dijeron que parecían demasiado cansadas. Y ese día ni siquiera hacía calor. Otro problema que tuvimos con la florista fue el fondo detrás de nuestra mesa de los novios. Pedimos 2 árboles de flor de cerezo y una lámpara de araña. Nos cobró $850 y el resultado fue completamente diferente de lo que habíamos discutido. $850 por unas cuantas ramas falsas unidas a una tubería de cobre, y una lámpara de araña torcida que ni siquiera estaba encendida. De nuevo, muy decepcionante. Cuando nos quejamos, ella dijo: "Estoy muy confundida respecto a por qué no estaban contentos con el fondo de su mesa principal" y luego: "Me mantengo tras lo que proporcionamos". El diseño floral es muy caro y las flores no duran. Cuando te quejas, se ponen a la defensiva y te echan la culpa a ti. Su libertad creativa es más importante que lo que piden la novia y el novio. El diseño de los ramos y los centros de mesa eran bonitos.
