I absolutely love this gym!! From the staff to the people I have met, the vibe is vibing. They have some of the best equipment I have ever used. Parking can’t get crowded at that times, but people are in and out continuously, so plan ahead.
Weirdly unhelpful and staff not interested in giving information about signing up for a membership Edit: my original review is above, but after spending some time at this gym I’ve decided to increase the number of stars I originally gave it. While I stand by my original statement regarding staff, I found the selection of machines at this gym to be really impressive for the price. Sure some are rusty and not the fanciest equipment, but there’s such a variety of machines that it makes hitting my targets muscles really fun and easy. I also grew to appreciate the body builder/grungy vibe here. Most importantly, this gym is affordable! This place has a ton of character, I hope it never changes.
Great staff. Nick is helpful and welcoming. The owner is equally personable. The gym itself has more equipment than I could ever use. Awesome place. I do a weekly membership while visiting San Diego at a extremely reasonable price.
The best gym on the planet! I traveled many places and visited many gyms but this one is unique. Amazing location in San Diego with big car park. Great atmosphere and people, motivational music, great equipment and people behind desk very friendly and professional. Great old school gym. Must visit. Martin Petro, Natural Pro bodybuilder
Me he hecho amigo de Brad, el dueño, y él ha creado uno de los mejores gimnasios de todos los Estados Unidos. Recientemente, Rich Gaspari de Generation Iron fue a visitarlo y dio reseñas elogiosas. Si eres un culturista hardcore, este es el lugar para entrenar. Si eres de las personas que preferirían ir a LA Fitness o Planet Fitness, no querrás entrar a este gimnasio. Tengo poco más de 50 años, pero me encanta la camaradería de los entrenamientos de gimnasio de la vieja escuela. Desde California hasta Florida, es un gran lugar para entrenar.
