Great shop with a large selection of sake, whiskey, and beer. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I usually stop by before going to dinner and they’re always helpful and knowledgeable with recommending a sake that will pair well with the restaurant I’m going to.
So friendly and well informed, with a solid selection of sake and other traditionally Japanese alcohols. Very pleased that they're also the only place away from the North Shore where you can pick up Hawaii Sochu's Nami Hana sochu. I'll see y'all next time I'm in Honolulu! 🤙🏼
Amazing customer service! So friendly, so much Aloha! Their expert knowledge gently guided us to the best sake we have ever tasted. We had the kinka Tedorigawa (cold sake is the best sake) and can’t wait to finish the second half tonight with some of japans best beer, Hittachino ale! If you’ve never been to “THE SAKE SHOP” you’re missing out!
If you’re looking for sake of all ranges of quality, including ones that are exquisitely made with care and concerned for both production and sourcing of materials, go to this shop. The woman who helped me (maybe the owner?) was knowledgeable and kind, which is something that makes me want to frequent this local business even more. There are also some accessories, and drinking vessels.
