I highly recommend Topstitch Leeds. They did a truly wonderful job restoring and altering my 1960s vintage wedding dress — no easy task given the age of the garment and the incredibly intricate lace. From start to finish, they were friendly, helpful, and exceptionally talented. What really stood out was the care and respect they showed for such a historic and sentimental piece. The dress was returned in beautiful condition — expertly pressed and looking far better than before. It genuinely looked brand new. I felt completely confident leaving my dress in their hands, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the result. Thank you for treating my dress with such skill and sensitivity.

I would not hesitate to recommend Top Stitch Tailors. Especially if you have clothing by major names such as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, for example, that you feel need to be altered to create a better fit. They are realistic in what they can or can't do with a particular garment. Any alterations agreed upon always turn out as a excellent indication of the experienced and professionalism that can only be expected from a Tailors of this callibre.

Teresa & David at Top Stitch were amazing. I was messed around for 6 weeks from another seamstress and I could not be happier about it as fate brought me to the best! Teresa knew exactly what needed doing and with only 1 1/2 months until my big day it was such a huge stress as my dress didn't have sleeves and was too long. I left my dress in their hands and the final fitting was just perfect. I also want to thank them both for my free therapy session when I was stressing and for making me feel so comfortable.
