Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. The Tutor Trust is flexible work and fits perfectly round university studies. As well as being great in school experience if you are hoping to become a teacher one day! I would recommend this job to anyone who is a hard worker, respectable, kind and has the urge to help young people.

I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. The assignments offered to tutors are varied and accessible, and the staff have great communication and offer support on assignments and valuable feedback on lesson plans. There are also plentiful opportunities for career development, such as the Advanced Tutor Pathway, Brand Ambassador work and great links with TeachFirst. I can’t recommend working for The Tutor Trust enough to my course mates, friends and family.

Through working as a primary tutor with The Tutor Trust, I have gained many essential skills which will be vital for my future career. It has been very fulfilling to mentor students for the past three years, and the charity offer flexible hours that fit around university timetables and other commitments, so there has never been any stress with arranging my shifts. The Tutor trust is an excellent place to work. I began working here as a student and was immediately impressed with the opportunities they had to offer. They provide excellent training for tutors and cover the costs of necessary checks such as DBS which showed the care they have for both their tutors and the students that they provide tutoring for. They constantly ensure that I am able to build excellent relationships with the schools I work for and have excellent communication with me throughout my work. They also do an excellent job of keeping all tutors connected and provide thorough resources and training throughout working there, whether you are a new or experienced tutor. I would highly recommend The Tutor Trust both to anyone considering working for them or anyone seeking their tutoring services.
