We came here looking for halal options. We ordered cheese pizza slice and wings. The wings were really good, especially the sauce they came with. I loved it. The salesman was very friendly and helped us with our order. However, the shop was quite crowded, and when we asked for extra sauce, they couldn’t provide it. Overall, I’d still recommend this place for their wings.

They have the best wings in town. Perfect every time. Pizza is also very good and lots of toppings.

For a small pizza shop the food was good & the prices were very reasonable. I had a classic meatball sandwich that was super good & my son had two bigs slices of pizza that filled him up. My mom had a philly cheese steak sandwich! It's really close to Bourbon St as well. I would definitely eat here again. The staff was nice 🙂↕️

While we were waiting on our order at VooDoo Chicken & Daiquiris, we happened to spot Vieux Carré Pizza right across the street. My husband is a certified pizza lover like, if there’s cheese and pepperoni within a five-block radius, he’s going to find it so of course we had to pop in and grab a slice while we waited. I’m so glad we did! The vibe inside was casual and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and quick with service. We ordered just a single slice to hold us over, but that slice was HUGE, fresh, and loaded with toppings. My husband took one bite and immediately went into that quiet head-nod of approval that lets you know the pizza is doing exactly what it needs to do. The crust had a great crunch, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the seasoning was on point. What I appreciated most was how clean the place was and how fast everything came out, even with people moving in and out constantly. It’s a perfect little stop if you’re wandering the French Quarter, need a quick bite, or just want to satisfy a pizza craving without waiting forever. We’ll definitely be stopping by again on our next New Orleans trip — my husband already said this place is “on the list.”

Vieux Carré Pizza is a solid hidden gem in the French Quarter that delivers great value without cutting corners on quality. I stopped in for a quick bite and left genuinely impressed with both the food and the price point. I ordered a slice of meat pizza and a meatball sub — both were satisfying and flavorful. I had to stop eating the pizza just to get a picture real quick before I forgot. The pizza slice had a perfectly crispy crust that held up well under the generous layer of cheese and meat toppings. The meats were fresh, well-seasoned, and not greasy, giving each bite a balanced, hearty flavor. The meatball sub was just as good, if not better. It came loaded with tender, juicy meatballs that were packed with flavor and felt homemade rather than processed. The sub was big, satisfying, and filling — the kind of sandwich that really sticks with you in the best way. The bread was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the sauce and melted cheese tied it all together without overwhelming the meat. Overall, Vieux Carré Pizza delivers on all fronts: quality, flavor, and value. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick slice or a hearty sub, it’s definitely worth a stop. I’ll be coming back for sure the next time I’m in town.
