50/50 Started off horrible. First impression, worst place ever. Read until end to see, my opinion changed... Made an appt and went there with my daughter. Ann Nguyen was the technician who did my nails. I had so many problems and almost left there very upset. Ann Nguyen started by stating she couldn't give me color I wanted, couldn't put flower design on, she tried to show me stickers while telling me I'd like those better). I told her no stickers, I didnt want that on my nails. She then got purple smeared on my hands and around my nails, she had the polish globbed and smeared on the nails and when sanding she grouged and broke one nail. (By the way, it was not broke due to old nails or due to me, my nails had grown but weren't abused. I literally got them done 2 weeks prior.) When I washed my hands she had me do so in an old wash tub that had things to be cleaned in it (it looked like a storage room or janitorial closet). I walked out after paying with my daughter, Visiby upset, my daughter said I should speak up if I'm that unhappy... We walked back in and went to one of people doing hair. She got another technician and fixed the situation. *** see review on April. *if my opinion was based solely on Ann Nguyen then I would leave a worst review. Do not see her. She should not be doing nails!! The hair stylist went and came back with April. April also did my daughter's nails. April, fixed everything Ann messed up. She cleaned up the mess all over my hands. She fixed the mess and sharp edges. After April fixed everything she then repainted my nails. I did leave happy! **based off this I would definitely return again, only if I could have April. The only reason the salon got three stars is 1. For fixing the problem and 2. For April. They are very lucky to have April!!
Olive's been doing my nails for a few months now and every time she does them so so well and the art is always so cute!! I work with my hands a lot and am pretty clumsy but I've never had issues with them peeling off early or getting in the way :) She's also cut/colored my hair occasionally and is so good at communicating throughout the process and explaining what she's doing. You can tell she's really committed to her job and I appreciate it!!!
The absolute dedication of this salon to perfection is astounding!! Noelle was COMMITTED to giving such a wonderful service and my nails SHOW it. The place has such a wonderful vibe too and everyone was super friendly. I cannot rave enough about how Noelle was so nice and made sure my nails were nothing but perfect. Please do yourself a favor and go relax while this salon takes care of you!!
Today was my first time going into this salon but there will be many times to come!!! Everyone was professional, kind and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Devon was absolutely incredible & my hair has never looked or felt better. The massage they give you while they’re shampooing is worth paying for on its own, and I’m blown away by the more than fair prices, cute atmosphere & cleanliness. I absolutely loved my experience and will be recommending Devon to anyone I know!! THANK YOU, Devon & Walk in Salon!
Yessssss!!! I’d give ten stars if I could!!! Talk about service upon service!!! These folks are friendly, knowledgeable, and SO SERVICE oriented! Greeted and given the best services available (met my time/availability), offered water, shampooed in a dimly lit room (relaxing!), given a complementary neck and shoulder massage, consulted on how I wanted my new haircut, and they nailed everything! Oh! And they brought me a wonderful tea (my custom order) from Urban Teahouse! My pedicure was equally relaxing and exactly what I asked for. Ten stars!
