I was seen by Mary Kate during a time when I really needed help. It was just a few days before Christmas, and I had gone to another hairstylist who unfortunately left my hair a complete disaster. That stylist wasn’t able to fit me back into her schedule to fix it, so I started looking for someone who could help—and that’s when I found Willow Salon and Mary Kate. From the moment I sat in her chair, she was an absolute sweetheart. She listened to all of my concerns, let me vent my frustrations, and truly made me feel heard. She took her time examining my hair, asked thoughtful questions about what I wanted, and came up with a realistic plan to get there. She completely fixed my hair and honestly restored my trust in hairstylists. I will definitely be going back—she’s incredibly talented, kind, and very funny. I can’t recommend her enough! First time coming to Willow Salon and loved every minute of it. The salon itself is so chic, has private parking + the stylist & customers were all so friendly. Ryan and her assistant did such a great job. I booked a long length hair cut, hair mask and scalp scrub. My hair and scalp feel so fresh and clean! I asked for a 1 inch trim, long layers and a cheekbone face framing. What do we think ladies?!
Amelia is truly incredible at what she does. From the moment you sit in her chair, you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and their hair. She listens closely, gives thoughtful advice, and somehow always delivers results that are even better than what I imagined. My hair has never looked better, and I always leave feeling confident and excited about my look. Amelia’s skill, attention to detail, and warm personality make every appointment a great experience. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else! Just an example of how magical her work is (before and after):
Mary Kate is SO talented! I drove 5 hours to see her and am so glad I did. I went blonde for the first time and she did exactly what I wanted. Not only is she incredibly smart and talented, but she’s also so kind, fun to be around, and genuinely personable. She made the whole experience fly by and walked me through everything she was doing. I felt fully comfortable throughout and am so happy that she was my stylist. Her ability to do exactly what I described was and has been extremely impressive.
We had such a great experience with Mary Kate! My daughter has very thick hair, and we’ve had trouble in the past with stylists not listening when we ask for it to be thinned/texturized. Mary Kate truly listened to what my daughter wanted and also took the time to consider her hair type. She was gentle, patient, and so sweet. The cut came out beautifully and my daughter left feeling confident and happy. Highly recommend!
