The food is quite good and usually fresh, love the chrysanthemum tea. However, the hosts really can’t seem to do their job well. We went late on a Sunday and half the restaurant was empty while a crowd of people outside. Kept seeing staff with carts of food go by with no diners to serve because of all the weirdly empty tables in the main dining room. If we came back, we’d definitely make a reservation but it’s a bit hard to justify the price point and mid service/long wait.

Too expensive for the taste / flavor. Most of the dishes I tried tasted under seasoned. The only thing that was good was their chili pepper sauce. No cheung fun (rice noodle roll) at this location. Lotus Wrapped Sticky Rice: Felt too wet and lacked flavor. The rice wasn’t sticking to the leaf Shrimp Har Gow: Nice and plump, but not juicy and moist. Lacks flavor Siu Mai: nice and firm, but lacked seasoning Egg Tart: Mediocre egg custard. Has a flaky crust

Yank sing has authentic and tasty dim sum while also being clean with a nice ambience. The pork spare ribs and har gow were good. I love the chilli oil which is mildly sweet, not spicy and has a lot of soybeans. The fried curried shrimp wontons were light and crispy and not too oily. The xiao long bao was a little different from the ones at other places. The broth had some additional aromats but I couldn't say which. Service is efficient and a little brusque for the fine dining prices. The food is good but for what you get prices are steep. Dumpling home/story is still my go-to.

Came here for a private event. Better to take public transit than find parking down here. There was an hour portion of wine and appetizers. I thought it was good and did not feel greasy but the oil did go through the napkins. Otherwise good was good through dinner. Egg tarts and sesame balls we’re excellent.

It’s a clean and tasty restaurant for dim sum, though not everything was deeply impressive. The portions felt a bit small for the price, and a few of the female staff members came across a little brusque. Considering how expensive it is compared to other dim sum places, I rated it by fine-dining standards. It’s definitely an upscale restaurant, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of the very top establishments. As far as I know, it was only once mentioned by Michelin back in 2016.
