I can’t say enough amazing things about this gym! The small group classes create such a warm, personable environment, and I’ve never once felt judged or out of place. Ayala’s restorative yoga sessions are truly something special. She blends therapeutic movement with intention, always sharing a thoughtful message that grounds you for the day. Her presence alone makes the space feel safe, calming, and deeply supportive. If you’re looking for yoga instructors in Raleigh who genuinely care about your wellbeing, this is the place. Every class feels like a reset button for both mind and body, and I always leave feeling lighter, centered, and more connected. I took a yoga class at Activate Fitness and Wellness, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Since starting at Activate, I can truly say I enjoy coming to work out every week. It has become a community/family for me. All of the trainers are encouraging and knowledgable. Jess, specifically, has made this journey a fun one. She makes sure we both stay in tune with my body and quickly can pivot my workout to what is needed at the time. She has made me fall back in like with working out!! (We are still working on the love part LOL).

Hannah is exceptionally personable and an absolute joy to work with. Before training with her, I was working with a personal trainer at another gym and unfortunately gained fat while losing muscle mass between January and May 2025. After switching to Activate Fitness and Wellness, Hannah completely turned things around—within just two months, I was back to where I had been in January. What truly sets her apart is her thoughtful, client-centered approach. She begins each session by checking in on how you’re feeling, as well as your water and food intake. She ends each session by reviewing what went well, what didn’t, and how she can make future sessions even better. She is easy to talk to, receptive to feedback, and continuously tailors your fitness plan to match your evolving needs. Hannah is an attentive listener, deeply empathetic, encouraging, and fully invested in your success. Her positive energy and passion for her work is evident in every interaction, and working with her has been a genuinely rewarding experience.
