When you are ill, nothing is great . . . Until AFC helps make it a little better. While visiting grandchildren I became ill, and my family quickly set me up with an appointment at AFC. Staff was thorough, friendly, and solutions and options for recovery were explained and discussed. Care does not get easier or better than this.
JJ and Stephanie were so sweet and funny while taking care of me. And Bethany my PA gave me some better insight to my allergic reactions and even suggested a dermatologist to use of my problems persists. I go here often when I cant go to my primary doctor and I haven't had a complaint yet. There was a patient in the office hacking his life away without covering his mouth amd the front desk lady suggested he wear a mask because she seen how uncomfortable I was.
Having checked in early my wait time was minimal. The staff was polite and friendly. Although they couldn't treat my condition; the health care professional examined me and clearly explained what was going on and what I needed to do next. I was treated like an actual person instead of a number.
This clinic is my top choice for all my medical needs. They're always prompt getting you through admission and triage and the physicians are always quick to come in the room to administer care. I'm grateful for the care I've always received here. I never have to go to a hospital ER. They've always been able to provide competent medical treatment for me. i was experiencing what i thought were symptoms of the flu on New Year’s Eve. Of course my regular healthcare provider was not available. i got online and quickly saw that this AfC Urgent care has the best reviews. i was able to book an appointment at 2:000. When i walked in i was immediately greeted with big smiles from the receptionists Zee and Maisy. Signing in was a dream since i had completed all the requirements online already. I was shocked how quickly i was called back to a room. It was less than 30 minutes. Ashley was the nurse who took my vitals ,was very kind and explained everything she was going to do before she took my vitals. Erin the provider came in within minutes. She asked good questions as she examined me. She tested me for flu and covid and both came back negative. when i was about to walk out the door she suggested testing me for strep and mono. Lo and behold , i was positive for strep. i was out the door and on my way to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription shortly there after. The office itself is very clean and well organized. i was impressed from the time i walked in to when i left. Great place , great staff.
