A wonderful place to go when looking for supplies to make something remade. I love the selection of fabric and art. There are furniture pieces and quilts. There are clothes for doing what you will with them. Just so many ideas when you visit.
Second time coming here, I really enjoy browsing their many unique items along with consignment items. Very fair pricing for a lot of things including furniture which I particularly like. Sadly I’m taking a couple stars off due to an interaction with the lady that checked me out.. I found a very nice like-new Columbia brand cropped winter jacket for $18! Tried it on and felt very cute in it & luckily fit me well which seldom happens for thrifted clothing. Upon her removing the tag & hanger (they recycle those) she said “this looks too small for you. Is this for you or someone else?” Which is a wild thing to say to someone in retail as I also work in retail and cannot imagine saying that to a customer. I simply said “yes it’s for me” and continued to check out. It wasn’t until I got in the car that it started to really bother me. I felt inadvertently fat-shamed. Maybe have a chat with your employees to keep weird comments like that to yourself, especially if you don’t know what someone else is going through. But hey, still pleased I scored a nice jacket for the winter.
A wonderful experience and place to find hidden treasures! They have a bit of everything to help along your project from paints and varnishes to art to wooden add ons. I find it changes about once a week with what comes in and goes out. Not handicap accessible but has plenty of parking.
This business has got so much junk outside that is unsecured. During 100mph winds a piece of wood from the front of this business flew and shattered the back window of my car costing me 450 dollars to repair. When I went in to talk to an owner or manager of the store I was met by a woman who basically told me that sucks. “Things fly around in 120mph winds, I don’t know what to tell you. We talked this morning about maybe securing the items out front with bungee cord since I spent a good amount of time picking stuff up from all around the property.” Only securing items because you don’t want to have to pick them up, not for the safety aspect? That’s wild. A piece of wood flying fast enough to shatter a car window could have seriously injured someone. There are apartments on both sides of this business, people are coming and going at all hours. Not once did I receive any sort of apology for their negligence. I’m all for supporting small businesses but I would never support a business that doesn’t care about the impact they have on the community.
