This place is great! They really put a lot of thought and care into this! During Christmas they had a selfie station outside. The ice cream flavors taste great! Big corps have this “process” taste to it. Whereas here it taste like real ice cream. The inside is clean, you are greeted as soon as you walk in. It was my first time and i greatly appreciated the run down and a smile when greeted. The prices are fair, family friendly, great service. It’s a 10/10 for me here! Highly recommend.
We went to Arctic Ape for our first time last week and loved it! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by staff. They asked us if it was our first time and since it was, they explained all of the different choices and how it worked. They had lots of different flavors and a ton of toppings. She let us know that they also have cups that you can put all of your items in and then they can blend it into a smoothie or mix it like a Blizzard. You just have to be careful, at $.67 an ounce, it adds up quickly :) Everything was delicious and we will be visiting again, soon.
A fun fro yo place in town. Th decorations outside were adorable! Take a picture with your head in a fro yo! One could get carried away wit the creativity here! Or overwhelmed…. Haha My kids would give it a 10/5 and ask about it often.
We got to try Arctic Ape for the first time the other day! We were warmly welcomed by the employee, who was excited to tell us about the hundreds of toppings that they offer. It definitely wasn't hundreds, but they do offer a wide variety, including lots of different types of syrups and sauces. I was sad to see that they didn't have any Reece's! This is just a personal favorite and I know that not everyone enjoys it, but I love having that on froyo, and for a place with so many toppings, it was surprising and sad to see it missing! The concept of monkeys in the Arctic and all of the decor makes the shop really fun! They offer board games to play while you eat, but there were tons of kids literally throwing pieces everywhere and screaming while we tried to enjoy our yogurt. It's a fun concept, but unfortunately families seem to take advantage of it.
Came in with our three kiddos and daughters coach. We were in town for a basketball tournament. The staff was super friendly and eager to help with our questions. The decor was super cute too! The kids really loved it. The frozen yogurt was delicious and there were plenty of different topping options. We all thought it was delicious. Whenever we are back in San Antonio again we will be sure to stop by again.
