Great experience at Arthur Murray! The instructors are highly skilled and friendly, and they teach a wide variety of dance styles—from Latin and ballroom to country and more. It’s a fun, welcoming environment and a great place to learn to dance.
Every two weeks I make a one hour trip to Scottsdale Arthur Murray. Why? One word: Janelle. Janelle is absolutely the best dance instructor. She understands my health challenges, she throws me in and out of my comfort zone (which is a good thing) and sends me home with sharpened cognitive abilities and always with a smile. Actually, walking into the studio the entire staff welcomes you with a smile and, for newcomers, will put at you ease.
This studio has created a safe environment to learn how to dance. I've had a lesson with every instructor and each one has been a great time and tangibly improved the technique of my movement. Shout out to Riguita for being my main instructor and helping me place first in my first ballroom competition! If you sign up for lessons, take advantage of the extras like group classes and parties because they're a super fun way to improve! Sending much love to this studio and the community built from it
The quality of dance and fun here are top notch. Our lesson and Country Swing group class last Friday was everything we were looking for, and after there was a dance social open to the public. The music was great for that. On our way out, the studio owner (?) asked if we had a good time and invited us to an upcoming studio event. If you’re looking for country, ballroom, and Latin dancing I think you should give this a try.
Arthur Murray Dance Studio is absolutely incredible. I’ve had the privilege of working with Rafe, who has completely transformed my dancing. His teaching style is supportive, clear, and inspiring—I’ve truly never danced better. Riguita is also phenomenal, bringing such expertise and energy to every lesson. Both Rafe and Riguita go above and beyond to help their students grow. I can’t recommend this studio enough—five stars all around!
