I went last Friday for my first ever pottery session. We arrived and waited for our class to begin in the seating area. After a verbal sign-in, we were able to choose an apron - they have some fun selections and some for the more serious types. We were able to choose our wheel and provided a quick tutorial on how to use it. Ana was our pottery instructor, she was great. Patient, encouraging and provided constructive feedback where needed - with a postive flair. It was a fun, informative and creative class where we walked away with our very own piece of pottery. Thanks Ana, and the other staff at Artventures for a great first experience. I will definitely be back.
Went to Artventures Toronto for a girls’ night and absolutely loved it. This was my first time ever trying pottery, and all of our pieces turned out great—especially for beginners. We booked the 9 PM class for 30 minutes, and including myself and my two friends, there were nine people in total. It was such a fun experience meeting new people and creating our own pieces. There were two staff members, both very attentive and knowledgeable. They explained each step clearly and offered hands-on help whenever needed, which made the process easy and enjoyable. After creating our pieces, we took them home to rest, and were told to come back in about six weeks once they’ve dried so they can be glazed, heated, and made safe for eating/drinking—and we’ll also get the chance to paint them. I definitely recommend coming here, especially during the colder months. Plus, it’s right in the heart of downtown, so there are plenty of great food spots to enjoy before or after your class.
I really loved my experience here! Everyone was so nice and friendly. It was my very first pottery class, and Ann was incredibly helpful explaining everything we needed to know and was very encouraging. It was a smaller class, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I already can’t wait to come back and paint my piece.
First time experiencing the art of pottery and we are so in love!! The process made us mentally so happy and loved the way how the output came.. So happy with the instructors as well as they helped us each very thoroughly!! The best class for such a great price!! Loved it!!!!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Artventures pottery studio with my cousin, and the experience was absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, Anna made us feel completely welcome. She guided us through every step of the process with incredible patience, kindness, and skill. As complete beginners, we truly appreciated how hands-on and encouraging she was—always ready to help but also giving us the freedom to explore and create. It was such a fun and relaxing atmosphere, and we walked away not only with some handmade pieces we’re proud of but also with great memories. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a creative and enjoyable experience!
