We have enjoyed our experience at the Baltimore School of Music. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they are very helpful in answering any questions. Our guitar lessons with Mr. Jacob have been very fruitful. Learning a new instrument is never easy, but Mr. Jacob has been patient and knows how to gauge the comfort level of his students. We always look forward to our lessons and leave the school with smiles and wanting to show what new things we have learned. Signing up after our trial lesson was, and continues to be, a wonderful decision.
Baltimore School of Music is a really good music school. My son Mason takes guitar classes with Mr Jacob and he LOVES it. Mr Jacob was able to teach him to read notes and play full songs in a matter of weeks. My son looks forward to going every week. We highly recommend this school and Mr Jacob.
Ms. Isabelle has been an exceptional piano teacher since I started learning in January. She does a great job of balancing immediate skill building with my long-term musical goals. She provides specific, actionable feedback while making lessons enjoyable, and always takes the time to address my concerns about technique or practice challenges. Her personalized approach has helped me progress faster than I expected. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to learn piano in a supportive but growth-focused environment. Can’t recommend this school or Ms Isabelle enough!!!
Ms. Kenedea is the sweetest and most patient teacher to our son. She definitely knows how to teach young kids and encourages their curiosity and love for music. We are so lucky to have her as our son’s piano teacher. We also recently learned that 2 of our son’s classmates were her students! What a small world! This also goes to show how effective she is with young kids.
I started at BSM to get back into learning music, and working with Jordan has been such a great experience. He’s incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and skilled across genres from Bossa Nova to classical. His passion for teaching shows in every lesson, and it makes learning both enjoyable and motivating. Since starting, I’ve learned so much and have really expanded my skill set on guitar. I’m grateful for his guidance and highly recommend Jordan to anyone looking for an inspiring and supportive instructor!
