Extremely nice and helpful. Doctor was so amazing. Miami Beach out patient. I had a dislocated finger and she popped it right back into place with an x-ray. But the kindness made the experience way better almost like nothing ever happen.
Great experience! I arrived and filled out standard forms. Almost immediately, I was seen by a nurse who took my vitals and discussed my complaint. I waited approximately 10 minutes before I was seen by a doctor. From my past experiences in walk-in clinics, the speed with which I was taken care of was phenomenal. The facility itself is very new and state of the art. It’s very convenient to where I live; I can walk. It’s only a few blocks from my home. There is a parking garage. I didn’t use it, but in the future, there might be a reason to. All in all, I was very happy with my experience, and I plan to find a primary care doctor at the Baptist.
I’ll start up by saying the staff is very friendly and the facility is very nice. My biggest grip is they have very limited diagnostic capabilities when it comes to illness. They can only test for Covid and flu and then anything viral beyond that they’re pretty much lost. For this reason, it ends up becoming a shotgun approach of them just giving antibiotics to everyone I’m guessing, at least that’s the case for me. With facility such as this, I would expect they would have the capability of doing a full viral panel so you can ensure you’re treating it properly. With such limited capabilities better off save the money and go to a minute clinic for severe cold and flu symptoms.
As a tourist dealing for the first time with American health system, I was really scared. I found myself surprised. The staff was really nice, they welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. The nurses and the doctor were amazing, super prepared and no judging at all. As a European citizen it’s crazy that you have to pay for assistance, but it’s not their fault. Recommended
I am visiting family in Miami Beach & I’ve had a few falls. No serious injury. I called my Primary Dr in CO & they advised me to go to an Urgent Care. Suggested I get x-rays, upon my return I have an appt & will advise if I should see a specialist. The Care & professionalism was wonderful from checking in, Drs, X-rays, checkout. The Baptist Hospital was excellent. I received a CD with my X-rays & a written report for my primary Dr in CO.
