We take both of our cats to Belmont Animal Hospital, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist greets you with warmth and professionalism, and we’re always seen promptly—no long waits, just genuine hospitality. We see Dr. Mays, and he is truly exceptional. He takes the time to make our cats feel safe and comfortable before even beginning the exam, which speaks volumes about his compassion and expertise. It’s clear he’s not just a veterinarian—he’s a caregiver who truly understands animals. Belmont Animal Hospital sets the gold standard for veterinary care in Nashville. We wouldn’t trust our pets with anyone else. Highly recommend!
I was referred to Belmont by my vet in Chattanooga that I've had for years. My experience with my Chattanooga vet was first-rate. I am happy to say that I am getting the same experience at Belmont. The staff is really friendly and they clearly care about their clients, mostly my dog, Charlie Brown. I had a WONDERFUL first experience during a challenging time. The Belmont staff has GREAT compassion and care. I couldn't be happier to have Belmont as my new Vet. Dr. O'Rear and staff have been amazing!!
Dr Nelson is the best. My dog Houston loves her so much that he gets excited when I ask if he wants to go see her. She has gone above and beyond since we started seeing her.
I have been a Belmont Animal Hospital "patient" since Zsa Zsa came into my life in March 2011... Dr Edie and Dr Sewell took care of us for many years, and Dr Nelson helped us through Zsa's final months... I am so lucky to have Dr Nelson and the whole BAH team with "Stillwater's Zelda 'Za Za' FitzGerald" (she's fancy!) and me for all of our puppy adventures and milestones and for many years to come! You all are the best!!!
I have been using Belmont Animal Hospital as my primary vet for over two years for both of my dogs. They are the best and always able to help. Today we used the urgent care services which was such a huge help given I work full time during the week. All of the staff was helpful and cared so much for my pup and his minor procedure went great.
