My friend took me here last year and I've been back and ordered a bunch of times since. The food is incredible. I always over order yet never regret doing so. Love it. Staff are boss too, really friendly.
Big Lola’s Taqueria is our absolute go-to for takeaway and has been for a long time now. My husband and I regularly come here for our favourite comfort food, and we honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The burritos and tacos are consistently incredible, and we often make the most of the Neotaste 2-for-1 burrito deal unbeatable value for genuinely excellent food. Today we popped in and ordered our usual burrito and tacos, and added two bottles of Jarritos. When we heard the total, we decided to take the drinks off and just have something at home instead to save a few pennies. No fuss, no awkwardness, totally fine. But when our food was ready, the lovely woman serving us handed us two Jarritos on the house. Completely unexpected and incredibly kind. That small gesture absolutely made our day and perfectly sums up why Big Lola’s is so special. Amazing food, warm and generous people, and a real sense of care for their customers. This is exactly why we should always support small, independent businesses whenever we can. We’ll be back (as always!) and recommending Big Lola’s to everyone we know 🌮🥤
Big Lolas is a brilliant spot for Mexican food lovers. The tacos and burritos are consistently great—fresh, full of flavour, and generously filled. Every time I order, I know I’m going to get a satisfying meal that hits the spot. The menu has a good variety, so whether you’re after something classic like a burrito or feeling adventurous with a specialty taco, there’s plenty to choose from. Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and the seasoning is just right—never bland, never over-the-top. Service is friendly and efficient, and orders are ready quickly, making it perfect for a takeaway or a quick meal on the go. For me, Big Lolas is a go-to for reliable, tasty Mexican food every time.
Three Big Lola’s in 7 days 😂💁🏻♀️😍 Had takeaway on Saturday and Sunday, back the following Saturday to dine in. All times the food was amazing! Highlights include the fish tacos, beef birria tacos, chicken wings, chicken burrito, and loaded fries. Wow! The food was hot, delicious and well priced. The order was ready for collection when stated, even though the kitchen was clearly very busy. The atmosphere in the restaurant when waiting to collect was good, and the staff were absolutely lovely, accommodating and friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend. Edit: July 2025 - Food is still mega. Just going to keep adding photos every time I visit 🤣 Tried the cauliflower tacos today 👌🏼
As a Californian in Liverpool, I have to highly recommend the Beef Brisket Burrito, the Birria tacos and baja fish tacos. These were absolutely delicious and totally hit the spot. I was blown away with the quality of the meat and the corn tortillas. Also, it's almost impossible to find real corn tortillas anywhere in the Liverpool city centee. It's always some crunchy corn shell tacos (not real tortillas sorry brits). Their corn tortillas are an oasis in the desert of flour tortillas.
