Here, I recommend the clams and the grilled squid. The oysters are okay, but nothing special. The grilled squid was surprisingly really good. They also recommended a small portion of the creamy tom yum, and it was delicious. It’s extremely loud, and they wouldn’t lower the volume—earplugs are a must. I went there for razor clams, but they’re only available from February to March, so keep that in mind. Wine corkage is $15. All the dishes are disposable, which was a bit disappointing—they didn’t tell us in advance, and I only realized later. I think next time, I’ll probably skip it.
Stopped by Big T’s Seafood Bar with a friend the other night, and honestly, it was such a fun surprise. I wasn’t planning on having a “big seafood evening,” but the moment the plates started coming out, I was fully on board. We tried a mix of shrimp, oysters, and a couple of sides — everything tasted fresh, seasoned just right, and came out piping hot. The portions were bigger than I expected too, which I appreciate when it comes to seafood (nothing worse than tiny plates for big prices — not the case here). Service was warm and easygoing, the kind where you feel like they actually enjoy having people there. The space itself is casual, a little loud, but in that lively, everyone’s-having-a-good-time way. Not a “sit quietly with a book” spot — more of a “laugh with friends over food” kind of place, which fit the night perfectly. Only thing I’d tweak is the lighting — the designer in me always wishes for a touch more warmth or character — but that’s me being picky. Overall, really solid seafood, friendly people, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be back when I’m craving something fresh and messy in the best way 🦀💛
They were really accommodating by making seafood for me without butter and rinsing the grill (I have butter / milk allergy). The seafood portions were awesome and the lady here was really nice. Thanks!
We went for happy hour and everything was fresh prepared and just delicious! I can't decide what my favorite was, between the grilled calamari, fresh oysters, garlic fries, and fried oysters 😋 . I will be back for sure and our waitress was so nice helpful and friendly. This place isn't fancy in decor and feel but the taste makes up for is 1000% ..hats off to the owner
The food was okay but not great. I wouldn't recommend the curry shrimp. It came in a bowl and was basically soup but the shrimp wasn't peeled head and all. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing but you was burning your hands trying to unpeel the shrimp. I would have prefer that be in the description because I wouldn't have ordered it.
