Our house was in rough shape after a big renovation, but Calibre saved the day. They removed all the fine dust and left the place feeling fresh. It was such a professional experience from the first phone call.

Nandun is very polite, communicates well and is a great cleaner. I don’t want this review to reflect poorly on him. My only note would be that we’ve paid for the full 2 hours but he usually leaves after an hour and a half. It would be good if he could use the remaining time to do other cleaning like cleaning windows or the oven that don’t get done as often because I’m disabled so it’s hard for me to do those things. Other than that he’s great 🙂
Bad value for money. I booked Calibre for a “deep clean” at my 6 year old 2 bed townhouse. The house is tidy and very low maintenance. I wanted to freshen up after the holidays and letting things go when I broke my leg this year. It took 3hrs and the cleaner skipped the laundry altogether (which is included in a general clean), left cobwebs, did a mediocre job in the bathrooms, the kitchen sink hasn’t been scrubbed, and didn’t move anything to clean under or behind.. ordinarily a little elbow grease and attention to detail and the bathrooms look nearly pristine. I said twice that I paid for a deep clean and the cleaner still asked if I wanted her to do the kitchen?? It was bizarre. When I asked her to put clean sheets on the beds that I had already stripped and laid out she asked “what does that mean?” (no language barrier whatsoever) I was puzzled and said “so the clean sheets, put them on..?” This clean cost $90+ more than the deep clean I had done last year by an independent family owned company and didn’t include things like dusting the fans or cleaning windows. I thought using a big company would be more convenient in terms of time/date because I’m on a tight schedule. The cleaner was very friendly and did repeatedly ask if the work was alright but it was nearly 6pm (I had originally booked a 9am clean, which they changed to midday, then 2pm.. she arrived after 2.30pm) then she took 3hours to do a very basic job. I wanted her to leave and to do it properly myself. If I had spent 3hrs cleaning the house would be spotless. Calibre have a guarantee that they’ll come and fix it if you’re not satisfied but this experience makes me not want them back!
