Capitol Jiu Jitsu est une académie d'arts martiaux de premier plan située à Sacramento, qui propose un enseignement expert du Jiu-Jitsu brésilien dans un environnement accueillant et familial. I joined this gym a couple of months ago and I am really enjoying my time there. I attend mainly the lunch classes and the instructors are great, the students are great to hang and roll with, and the facilities are both top-notch. Done hesitate to give it a try!
Incredible coaches, members, and facility! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Capitol JJ. I dropped in while in Sacramento for a few weeks and couldn’t have found a better place to train. If you are in pursuit of a gym to train full time, drop in, get your kids involved…look no further.
UPDATE: Back in sacramento this week for work and I had a wonderful time dropping in again at Capitol. I got to attend the morning gi class, which was a good size and was full of upper belts. As I've experienced before, the instruction was clear, the technique was sharp, the rolls were hard, and the people were friendly. I was offered a loaner gi, since I was traveling. And I took advantage of the weight room to get in some reps before I headed back to work. This place is top shelf. I'll be back! Had a wonderful drop in this morning at Capitol Jiu Jitsu in Sacramento. One of the nicest gyms I’ve ever seen, with brick walls, wood paneling, and even stain glass windows. This gym is fully equipped with showers, changing rooms, sauna, and fully setup weight room. Most importantly, it’s just a great place to train. Nice folks, great teaching, sharp technique, and awesome rolls. I couldn’t have had a better start to my day. Everyone treated me like I was part of the gym. I emailed ahead of time and the owner, Gibral, was super responsive and professional. The waiver was easy to find and to complete. Also, my Achilles heel…..their merchandise is so sick. I ended up getting both a rash guard and a T-shirt (I used our designated grocery card so that Wendy hopefully won’t notice). Capitol Jiu Jitsu is such a nice gym! My daughter and I dropped in while we were in town for the weekend and we were immediately welcomed like we were part of the Capitol family. The gym is ultra clean, well laid out and family friendly. The rounds were tough but clean and fun. You can tell these guys LOVE Jiu Jitsu. Thank you Jenna, and the whole Capitol Family for welcoming us to your place. We will definitely be back.
Great gym in a beautiful space! I dropped in twice & felt welcomed. The professor is knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. The gym itself is very well kept, clean, and aesthetically pleasing (which to me matters lol). Will definitely be back when we’re in town ☺️
