I can’t speak highly enough about the entire staff, but Dr. Hofmeister and Dr. Arnold were absolutely amazing. Dr. Hofmeister took my cat in as an emergency case and single handedly reviewed his entire medicine protocol and made changes based off of recent research she had seen and it made a massive difference. Her effort into being a better Doctor directly led to a drastic change for the better for my cats health while he waited for Surgery. Dr. Arnold performed the surgery and was extremely clear on what the process would be and did a fantastic job. I would never wish an animal emergency on anyone but this team is fit to tackle the issues life throws us.
Dr Cortes & Dr Arnold were fantastic & I would recommend them to anyone that has an animal that needs expert care. Knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Arnold performed surgery on my dog and I do believe he’s going to be just fine. Dr. Cortez spent so much time talking to us and explaining everything. We were very pleased.
After wasting time and money at Urgent Vet in Gastonia (which is honestly a surprise) and an unfortunate misdiagnosis at the “normal hours” animal hospital that operates in conjunction with our normal vet; our poor, sweet Yeti cat Was in very bad shape. He started having what seems like cold symptoms about two weeks prior and then on Monday evening 11/10 He had his first seizure. That was when we took him to urgent vet, and then the following morning I took him to our hospital. That evening he had another seizure and within two hours had a second one for the day. That was around 11:30 at night at which point we created him up and I took him to the first 24 hour animal hospital I could find. We drove from Gastonia to Carolina Vet, veterinary specialist, and it was as if we were being guided by God. Dr. Jackson was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge and care brought our boy back. By Friday 11/14 He was ready to be discharged and was doing phenomenally better. Come to find out he had FIP. Dr. Jackson was able to secure three days worth of medicine for him and got me set up with the pharmacy to get the rest of the medication. She kept us updated at the beginning and end of everyone of her shifts And answered all of our questions and concerns with the utmost honesty. There is no way I would ever be able to thank or repay the kindness and expertise that this hospital afforded to our boy. I truly believe that we were guided by the hand of God to find them in order to save our sweet baby. Almost 2 weeks from thinking we were about to lose him to now you would never think he was sick aside from where they had to shave him lol. He is running and jumping and playing with his housemates just like before. Although from start to finish, it was a relatively expensive process, their pricing was incredibly reasonable compared to the services they offered, and they care they gave our sweet kitty. Thank you so much Dr. Jackson and staff, from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much!!!!
Highly recommend their emergency care team, everyone there was amazing. We were greeted with kindness and our concerns were addressed quickly. Our dog needed treatment and overnight care, and we felt very comfortable leaving her in their care. There was always someone available to give us updates throughout the night. Would definitely go here again if needed!
My dog had a very scary few months and needed urgent care and 2 blood transfusions. The staff kept me updated all the way and continue to help me with my precious Mr.Sparkle. The specialists here are amazing and my dog loves the care he is receiving. As a pet Momma, I’m super happy to recommend this your go to spot for your pet.
