The best place for chocolate is right here. They roast the beans and make it on site. I encourage you to make a trip there to try their chocolate. Derik and Emily are awesome!
Oh, where do I start with Casa Chocolates? My daughter and I walked in today, and let me tell you, the moment you step through the door, this incredible wave of rich, handcrafted chocolate aroma just wraps around you—it’s like a warm hug from cocoa heaven! The display is so inviting, with this neat setup of dark chocolates lined up on the top row and milk chocolates anchoring the bottom. And to the right, they’ve got these cocoa beans from all over the world showcased, which immediately tells you they’re serious about their craft. We were greeted right away by Brian, who was just so friendly and welcoming. He asked if it was our first time, and when we said yes, you could tell he was excited to share their story. He walked us through their samples, and oh my goodness, each one was a little adventure. The Mexican hot chocolate one? That was our favorite, with these layered flavors and a gentle cayenne kick at the end—not too spicy, just enough to make you smile and go, “Wow, that’s special.” The dark chocolate coffee one was another standout, so smooth and bold. Brian took the time to explain how they handcraft everything, and you can feel the passion they put into sourcing fair-trade ingredients. It’s not just chocolate; it’s an experience. The shop itself has this cozy, mom-and-pop vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s small, sure, but that’s part of the charm—it’s like stepping into a little world where quality matters more than anything. Now, the chocolate bars are priced at nine dollars each, which might catch you off guard at first. But honestly, these aren’t your grab-a-handful kind of chocolates. They’re the kind you savor, maybe break off a small piece and let it melt slowly while you appreciate every note. It’s a treat in the truest sense, and the value feels just right for the craftsmanship and care they put in. If I could suggest one little thing, maybe a bit more signage outside to catch the eye of passersby—Casa Chocolates is such a gem, and I’d love for more people to discover it! My daughter and I had such a great time, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. If you’re craving artisan chocolate made with heart, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
I am a local and stumbled on Casa Chocolates last year. The owners are incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Their chocolate is some of the best I have ever had. It’s evident they are passionate about their ingredients and process. Their chocolates are identified by their source and they are quick to suggest the perfect beverage pairing for each type of chocolate. They are always generous with their samples and their shop’s aesthetic is sublime and inviting with a full view of their small production space. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Chocolate Heaven Found! Walked into Casa Chocolate and immediately got smacked in the face (in the best way) with the smell of fresh, dreamy chocolate. This isn’t your average candy shop—these folks make their chocolate from scratch, starting with actual cacao beans. The owner gave us the sweetest little crash course on how it’s all made, then let us taste it… and wow. Smooth, rich, and totally addictive. We’re already plotting our next visit. 10/10 recommend if you love chocolate and want to feel a little fancy while snacking!
This place is absolutely amazing. Not only do they have the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted but the owners are so friendly and patient with their explanations of how they make the chocolate bars. They took their time and explained how the process works and how even the slightest variations can alter the taste completely, such as roasting the cocoa beans a minute shorter or longer. Incredible experience. I highly recommend for any chocolate lovers. We will be back!
