I love this store. I don’t shop here for the books, I shop for the random novelty items, unique items and things you don’t know you need until you see them. This year had great stocking stuffers!!
I just had one of the worse experiences I've had here at this Chapters. Within minutes apart I had 2 different employees come up to me ( in a line of 50 plus people ) and ask me if I needed help.... I said no I am in line to grab a gift card...... when the second person came up to me I had to say the exact same thing but I added im not stealing. Im just in line to get a gift card. The people around me we laughing bc it was clear I was being targeted. Any apologies.... nope just them walking away......The first guy appeared at the beginning of the line.... funny how that worked out.... he tried making excuses. I literally asked him to stop lying I just need a gift card. Very disappointed 😞
Still the best place to get your books! I love browsing and actually touching the physical books, its cover and pages, before I actually buy them. This place also has a wide selection of books. I miss the coffee shop here though.
I was helped by an employee named Alyssa, she made my experience extremely enjoyable. She was able to help me find everything I needed to complete my christmas shopping for the holidays. She was very friendly and very approachable, she was confident in her knowledge which was such a relief. I hope to see her everytime I come back to this location so if I ever need help, I wont have to worry about getting it! Thank you for your time and help today, Alyssa.
Love visiting this book store. I often bring my teens and preteens here to inspire a love for reading. Plenty of parking, clean facility, great washrooms. Just wish they were open a bit later!
