I cannot recommend Columbia Pike Animal Hospital & Emergency Center enough. We recently had to rush our German Shepherd in for emergency surgery due to bloat, and from the very first phone call, the entire team was extraordinary. I called while we were driving in—completely emotional—and the front desk staff member remained calm, reassuring, and compassionate, letting me know they would have a team ready and waiting for us. When we arrived, a technician met us outside immediately and helped us get our boy inside. He was seen right away by Dr. Manzoor, who took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening, walk us through our options with patience and clarity, and answer every question we had during an incredibly overwhelming moment. We chose the lifesaving surgery, and Dr. Manzoor and his team truly went above and beyond. Thanks to their skill, urgency, and care, our boy made it through surgery. During his two day stay post surgery, I received multiple phone calls from the vet staff to give me an update on Zeus as we were still pretty nervous. What meant just as much to us was the follow-up care. When we returned on Saturday with a post op concern, the same level of kindness, attentiveness, and patience was shown by Dr. Large-Hart. The staff took their time checking on him, explaining next steps, and making sure we felt supported—not rushed or dismissed in any way. Every single person we interacted with—from the front desk to the technicians to the veterinarians—treated our dog as if he were their own. In one of the scariest moments we’ve ever experienced as pet owners, Columbia Pike Animal Hospital gave us not only exceptional medical care, but genuine compassion and reassurance. We will be forever grateful to this team.
William, the vet assistant was very calm, kind and helpful - Coco felt at ease with him her first time meeting him. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable, and his expertise and practical insights demonstrate his skill and compassionate candor. Dr. Nguyen examined Coco and provided a thorough medical assessment. His deliberate and genuine approach garners trust and (in turn) return clientele. I highly recommend him. Coco says thanks as well

What an amazing veterinarian and animal hospital! From the first consultation visit to the surgery and the follow up exams, we felt seen, heard, understood, informed, and most importantly, supported. The receptionists are patient and communicate clearly. The vet techs are careful and respectful. The surgeons are experts, and the vets are so knowledgeable and professional. After my beautiful Boy ROCKY turned 12 Monday, 23 June, he has been ill for over 10 days. On July 4, we had to rush ROCKY into emergency. Dr. Large-heart Deserves five stars for her compassionate and very informative diagnosis of our boy ROCKY. We bought ROCKY in on July 4th 2025 the Received the Heartbreaking news after Xrays, of his cancer! We were so devastated. Doctor Large-heart Was not only straight to the point and Completely thorough with her report to us that I could not imagine the strength that she has To deal with these situations on a day-to-day basis. We commend her for being the best Vet veterinary doctor experience we have experienced. She answered every question we had and. Just her knowledge and communication Were unbearable to any other. If your dog is having an emergency, go to Columbia Pike veterinary And we hope that you have a chance to experience Dr. Large-heart. We are so appreciative and grateful for her Experience and help for our dog.
