I stopped into this gift shop randomly on my way to the coffee shop next door and had an amazing experience. The lady who helped me I believe said her daughter in law owns the shop. She was incredibly kind and went far beyond her duties as a cashier on a day I really needed the kindness. Will 1000% be back just because of how wonderful she was, in addition to the fact that they have such a wide selection of gifts, cards, jewelry and other trinkets! Definitely stop in!
Fun experience. I only bought one small item, a traveling angel. It’s a stamped metal piece that resembles a coin. They came up on google maps as having religious themed gifts. They didn’t really but it was a fun find.
Stopped in here to shop for a gift for my daughter’s friend (instead of Target). The staff were extremely kind and even though we weren’t planning on it, my daughter bought her brother a Xmas gift… and the staff working had the clever idea of packaging the toy (a pretend dragon puppet) inside a small gift box with “keep out, danger” written on it and a some small small “bite holes” with part of the dragon mouth sticking out with cardboard in its mouth. A clever and fun idea. Thx so much for the perfect gifts and so glad we decided to shop small!
Quilling -QUILL CARD MAGIC! I love untold love stories, and this love story is affordable to BUY INTO! The story is about how one thing done many times, can change the lives of many . A quill card is one that is made from paper or straw, into an intricate design after it has been dyed. it is an intricate process that is done by hand It is an ancient form of artistic design that is intricate and fascinating Corazon has brought this story as well as many other love stories into its main light. Corazon means heart. These are gifts from the heart, and every single item in the store has a story about a creator, and a benefit into the world that is greater than just plopping something off of a shelf The cards are from a Husband and wife team , Wife is from Vietnam Her family is done, quilling for generations Her mom draws the designs that are appropriate to the United States, and in the quilling is done with paper and straw that is dyed The love story is that now that more of these cards are purchased, this love affair is now supporting, Now supporting a whole village that is creating for all of us here I spoke with the owner of the store, and the tenderness in which each of these cards is made is palpable, And the artist Very personal way the images are drawn They come to the us at Christmas, see in the store the artist does not speak English, but her smile says everything, it is a true Corazon story, I love affair of the heart Make the trip, share the story, be part of the love
