One of the worst dining experiences. I took my family there while visiting. The place was pretty empty. We're were sat and it was so dark we actually had to ask to be reseated because we couldn't see the menu. We ordered steaks with an appetizer. They had some chips and weird cheese dip what had the consistency of water. Mushrooms came out in pieces so mall you could barely grab them with a fork. Salty and unappealing. Them came the steak's, horrendous is the best way I could word it. It was very literally 1/4 inch thick.( See the attached photo) The humor what that they asked how it should be cooked. To add insult to injury, it was cold. I inquired about the condition of the steaks and they proceeded to inform me that the way they were made there. $36 for a cold, paper thin, disgusting piece of meat that I wouldn't label as a steak on any day. The server was dismissive while I sent it back. They said it would take longer to cook a hamburger then the steak shown. The final jab was that the burger was disgusting as well. We sat and watched the few tables that did have people send food back that evening. After looking into the place later, I wondered how a place like that had such high reviews and come to find out they have been known to self review their own restaurant. I would warn anyone to steer clear of this place.
Daigoro was such a great server. He was on top of our order and made sure everything came out fast despite other big parties. My birthday dinner was enjoyable. Thank you!
Delicious this place did not disappoint! Staff was very pleasant and efficient! Food was delicious definitely worth the price and the atmosphere here is lovely
Where do I start, im an El Paso native and im surprised at my experience. I Writing this while still sitting in the restaurant. Service was bad, I appreciate our waiters attempt to resolve issues but it wasn't enough. Kids food should come out first it came out last and how do you overcook chicken stripe with dry ass Mac n cheese. We had to ask for ketchup multiple times. I ordered an old fashioned and got it 45 minutes later, they said the wait was do to a new system 🙄. The burger i ordered i requested it be cooked medium, it was well done so at least it was cooked all the way through. The fountain in the entrance didn't work when we walked if anyone walks in and doesn't see that fountain running thats your sign to leave.
Always enjoy visiting Corralitos, especially this location where the service is always amazing! Got to meet the new kitchen manager, Marcus, when he visited our table and told us a little bit about how he’s trying to elevate the experience at the restaurant. You can already taste the improvements he’s made in the kitchen. The floor manager Martin is always so welcoming and attentive. He comes and checks on us throughout our visit.
