11/10 would recommend Creative Native, the artist and staff have been incredible! My husband and I fell in love with one of Christine Winmar’s Turtle Dreaming pieces, but the dimensions didn’t fit our space, so we commissioned a version of the piece in the right dimensions through Jilan and the team, who were fantastic with organising and explaining every step of the way. Ms Winmar created the most beautiful piece, which is even more stunning than we had imagined, and the whole process was super efficient and easy. Absolutely go visit the gallery and/website if you’re looking for indigenous artwork!
Fantastic experience ; exceptional service in the store. Would recommend having a couple of hours to ponder your purchase as there is just so many interesting and desirable works to choose from. This gallery should be mentioned in the commentary for the red bus tours.just saying. Recommend plus plus.
Sarah is a very professional and courteous staff member. She patiently introduced me to many drawing styles and explained in detail the artistic themes, including Aboriginal culture and daily life scenes. I’m truly grateful for her warm and thorough service—she was never impatient and answered all my questions with great care. I will definitely come back next time to make a purchase. Creative Native: A Truly Inspiring Experience We walked into this beautiful collection of artwork and were awestruck. The gallery is filled with stunning, authentic pieces that truly speak to the heart. Jilan was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to walk us through every detail and story behind the works. His guidance helped us bring to life exactly what we had envisioned. It was also deeply meaningful to see the gallery’s commitment to supporting local Indigenous artists — their work is powerful and deserves to be celebrated. P.S. The photo we took simply doesn’t do justice to the painting — you have to see it in person to fully appreciate its beauty. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.
I found this gallery through Google reviews, as I wanted to take home a real souvenir from our holiday in WA. I expected to find something small, but I came away with two paintings and a set of bamboo bowls. My tanks to Jilan, who helped us choose the paintings and wrapping them carefully for our flight. If you're looking for original aboriginal artwork, or like me, a real souvenir as a memory, then go and see Jilan.
