I brought the car in because I was being shocked while driving. I was told that my battery was bad, (although I had a new battery installed a few months earlier) that it had been over tightened when it was installed, and that it was grounding to the frame and shocking me, so he replaced it. I told him that I had been getting shocked before I got the battery replaced previous to the battery he just installed, and that I was still getting shocked. When told him that, he said "I understand", and didn't offer to refund the diagnostic charges, which were nearly two hundred dollars, because he hadn't solved the problem. I'm not even sure he didn't damage my battery, then charge me for a new one just to make money. He didn't test the driver's seat or foot pedals for AC electric discharge, or ask me under what circumstances the electric shock was occurring. I will not recommend Custom Complete Automotive.
They were able to get me oil changes, inspections, and brakes on two vehicles on very short notice. Great to work with and so glad they’re close to home. Will be my go-to now!
Came highly recommended... Dropped my car to have 6 inches of pipe added to the tip, told them it was aftermarket and offered to show a picture of under the car to show exactly what i needed but was tolds they dont do pictures. Called me 7 hours later to say they won't work on it bc its aftermarket header and didnt have a catalytic converter and still charged me $50 inspection fee for looking under the car. Picture would've clearly shown that and saved me $50 for something that was stated custom at the very beginning.
Great, honest Company, 1st class service at competitive prices. Brought my car in the morning and it was done by early afternoon. Considering they were very busy, they managed to do the job as promised. Thanks Nick ! I totally recommend them. I am going back to have a full car service.
Hands down BEST auto shop in Saint Louis! Had an unfortunate incident with a deer on the highway the night before and Chad Wakeman answered the phone and got me in right away. Dave Garrett was exceptional with his service and expertise to ease all my anxiety. He walk through all of his steps with me so I was knowledgeable on how to fix it further down the road. Could not have asked for a better experience with mechanics!!!
