I went to Dymocks wanting to buy some books since this bookstore has a great selection and I was very overwhelmed. A staff member called Nadia helped me with recommendations and I ended up getting two books instead of one. She was so helpful that I’ll know what to get for my next trip to Dymocks. There were other customers being helped by another staff member who was super lovely too and the young staff member at the checkout was very kind. It was a wonderful experience. I love this store so much. They also had a great selection of beautiful notebooks and diaries/planners.
This place is a true paradise for book enthusiasts! The extensive selection of books brings me immense joy. I could happily spend countless hours here, literally immersing myself in the scent of new books, and the staff are also very pleasant.
It's labelled the biggest bookshop in Queensland, on entering I can see why. Well laid out, immense amount of genres available and a large selection for all age groups which are clearly labelled. The staff member that assisted my 10 year old son was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. The store also carries a good selection of games for all ages. If you like books and get into the city centre I'd highly recommend paying it a visit.
We stopped by this Sunday and had the loveliest experience. We’d love to visit this store again - great selection of books you wouldn’t have even knew existed. We got a stack of books we’re excited to read. Customer service was great - shout out to the three legends behind the counter! ✌️🌞

Not only a dream for readers (hello endless shelves of new releases and classics), but also the perfect spot to grab gifts—or in my case, souvenirs for fellow book lovers. They’ve got quirky bookmarks, gorgeous journals, and bookish goodies that feel way more personal than the usual souvenir shop stuff. Bright, spacious, and easy to get lost in—in the best way possible.
