This shop had genuinely one of the nicest jewelry i had seen. There are many options you could choose from. However there was ONE MAJOR RED FLAG! They were very obvious when it comes to following black people in the store. I went there with my mom and sister and we were followed the whole time while shopping. They were giving us nasty stares while other people were not targeted. They were pressuring us to pay and leave and came every second saying « are you done now ?». I was shocked to receive this kind of treatment in big 2026 !!! And while the prices for certain items were affordable, others did not have a price tag and when we asked for the price it was double the price of other jewelry. I will strongly not recommend going there. The customer service was horrible and the blatant racial profiling was very obvious !!!
Relatively inexpensive Indian gold tone costume jewelry, some with slightly better quality and materials than others. Clasps are usually very weak, as are the earring backs, so check them out before buying or use your own. If you want something that lasts and not temporary bling, this is not the place to shop. Store prefers cash and charges a hefty 3.5% credit card fee not on cost before NY tax, but on the total amount including tax.
Allow me to express my thoughts: the items available in the store were truly exquisite. I have a particular fondness for the brooches and the jewelry. They are quite affordable, yet they exude a sense of luxury. However, the overt racism directed towards individuals of color, such as myself, was quite shocking. Upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted, and everything seemed satisfactory until I became aware that I was being followed. Initially, due to previous experiences, I dismissed it, thinking it might be a trick of my mind. However, it soon became evident that this man was specifically targeting me, while other customers who were not people of color were not subjected to the same treatment. This experience only reinforced my perception. While the products themselves are commendable, the experience of being followed was disheartening, especially since the man did not even attempt to conceal his actions.will no visti again
Been shopping here forever. Being a costume designer, I know they have alot of theatrical stage pieces I can use independently or base pieces to build upon. The selection y diversity of jewlery y accessories is nice. The staff is very helpful y professional.
This place rocks! I’ve popped in to their former location around the corner A LOT over the last 25 years. I was in this area a few weeks ago and was sooooo excited 🤩 when I saw their sign out front again. I immediately made my way through like a kid in a candy store. So fun!! And the people who work there are the best. So happy they returned to the neighborhood. I mean $8.00 for a piece of sparkle that makes me happy?!?!? Yes please!!! 🌟🌟🌟
