I had a deep tissue massage at Elaia Spa and unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations. The massage consisted almost entirely of sustained elbow pressure, with very minimal strokes and little to no focused work on the areas I specifically requested. It felt incomplete and lacked the precision and technique I would expect from a professional deep tissue massage. At checkout, I was not asked about my experience which felt unprofessional. The spa amenities were also underwhelming. The hot tub is shared with the entire hotel, and there isn’t a proper changing area with a chair or space to comfortably organize belongings, which detracts from the overall spa experience. While the location is nice, the massage quality, service flow, and amenities did not justify the experience for me. I hope this feedback helps set clearer expectations and encourages improvements.
This spa was amazing! Not only Siddie help with my stiff back to feel calm and relax! But also Faith the receptionist was very helpful showing me around to find the lounge, pool and hot tub.
I loved the facial that I had here last week. Isabel did such a wonderful job and provided an amazing face and neck massage with it. And getting to use the spa facilities before and after the facial made for a truly relaxing morning. Looking forward to going back!
I visited primarily for the spa facilities, so I opted for the day pass. I decided against the other services because they were pretty overpriced. The spa included a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. At $50 for a day pass, it wasn’t too bad, but when I arrived, they were out of robes, which was pretty disappointing. I ended up staying just two hours, it didn’t feel like it was worth much more time. After a while, there’s only so much you can do with swimming and steam rooms. I got a little bored. On a positive note, the receptionists were super friendly and provided excellent service.
This is a lovely spa for guests of the hotel, or for anyone else. It's located within the Hyatt Olive 8 but you don't have to be a guest to visit the spa. You can pay for spa treatments with World of Hyatt points which is very nice. The spa itself is excellent. My partner and I received a couples retreat package which consisted of access to the relaxation lounge (which includes complimentary tea, fruit cups, nuts, and chocolate-covered fruit), a joint soak in a warm salt bath, and a side-by-side massage with aromatherapy. Robes and sandals are provided. There is also a sauna and steam room in each of the locker rooms. The entire experience is extremely smooth and relaxing. It's expensive, but good for a special treat.
