Emily did a fantastic job of identifying my injury and recommending practical exercises for rehab of it. It's awesome being able to talk to someone about injuries who actually understands climbing. Thanks Emily!
Would highly recommend seeing Emily for any climbing related injuries! Emily diagnosed + helped me rehab a full A2 rupture on my ring finger back in May. 4 months later, I'm back to full limit climbing and recently sent my first v10. Emily was very attentive and flexible the entire time both in the initial appointment and in adapting my plan based on how my recovery was going.
I worked with Emily for a few months on a chronic finger injury from rock climbing. Working with Emily was great and I'm now climbing harder than before! Without going into too much detail -- we identified the root cause(s) of the issue and then hit them with appropriate exercises + adjustments to my climbing routine. Highly recommend Emily for her experience here working with climbers + and as a climber herself. Plus as someone who cares about getting you back to full performance! :)
I worked with Emily for over five to six months to rehab my forearm, which I broke during a bouldering fall. Emily was a delight to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable, explaining why I had certain sensations and pains based on my body's physiology. I also found the exercises effective. I have progressed well in range of motion, strength, and pain reduction. I'm climbing and doing yoga again, in a way that seemed impossible when when started. I highly recommend Emily!
Emily is the best climbing PT I have ever worked with (and I have worked with a lot), bar none. Her ability to diagnose finger injuries with such a high degree of confidence is game changing. She is also a total master when it comes to programming effective rehab protocols. This fall Emily was able to accurately diagnose a mysterious finger injury that I was struggling with, and come up with a rehab protocol that got me back to climbing far sooner than I ever could have hoped. Thanks to Emily, my fall/winter climbing season was saved, and I was able to eke out a send of my long-term project just before it became unclimbably wet for the rest of the winter. Thanks Emily!
