Franciscan Crab Restaurant, situé au Pier 43 1/2 sur The Embarcadero à San Francisco, propose des fruits de mer accompagnés d'un service attentif et chaleureux. A good restaurant with spectacular views to the ocean from almost every table. We spent New Year's Eve there and the service from Uriel was great. Food was good (crab cocktail is a must). The Merlot signature wine of the house was fine. Very fair prices
We went at a peak time and there was almost no wait to be seated (by the window, altough it was dark, still nice). Not too much of a wait for drinks and bit longervto order food. The food arrived quickly (they were busy today and ran out of bread). The actual food was really good, I has the sea bass with white wine and capers sauce - excellent! Elaine the Dungeness crab enchiladas and very surprised at just how good it was. The bill was $110 plus tip. Service was so so
Franciscan Restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf is a fantastic dining experience. The staff were super helpful, respectful, and genuinely friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and recommend excellent dishes. The branzino was very fresh, and the pasta was outstanding — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and offers plenty of seating with a beautiful view, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. A special mention to the manager, who was extremely kind and considerate in accommodating our request for a quiet, unoccupied seating area so we could perform our prayers while waiting for our food. Truly thoughtful hospitality. Definitely will return again. Highly recommended!
You walk up the stairs, you see so many people left and right. It's a massive size dining room. Very busy but still the food was super hot and the service was stellar! Our waiter's name was Saul and he was very attentive & kind. You can't go wrong. The crab was baked with garlic butter and grilled on iron PAN. It was awesome!..... tasted so good, definitely going back again!
We stopped in here for a light lunch while visiting the city. The decor is upscale and the staff is awesome. They were attentive and friendly. We had two margaritas and about loved them. Blended perfectly. My wife and I split her calamari and a chowder bowl. They were perfect! Some of the best calamari I’ve had in a while too! Our next trip will include a dinner here!
