Franklin on Penn is an amazing wedding venue and everything we could've asked for! It was really difficult for us to find something that was not a barn or a hotel, and thankfully Franklin on Penn opened when it did! They worked seamlessly with our vendors and wedding planner (part of their organization through Devoted to You) and made our vision come true. Everything was exactly as imagined and coordinated. When our audio person did not communicate about a return, and I reached out to Melissa via email about accessing Franklin on Penn earlier than planned in order to meet the return deadline, Melissa got back to me within 15 minutes and was ready to come and help us. The fact she was so willing to jump in and help even after the fact speaks volumes. Definitely recommend as a venue within the city that is unique, customizable, accessible, and also classy. Also, get Victoria as your wedding planner through them (Devoted to You) as well! She changed our lives and made everything flow so well. I think it was especially great having her because she already knew the inner workings of Franklin on Penn, which really put us at ease.
It was excellent! The actors were wonderful in their interpretation of Poe's poetry. The full-sized cocktails were delicious. A great experience all around! I would go again.
The entire experience was amazing. The performers told the stories with such passion. You were totally mesmerized and enthralled. The drinks were clever and and delicious.
a 90-minute immersive journey into the brilliant and twisted mind of Poe himself. Poe historians dramatically retell four of his most famous tales, and the best part? Each story is paired with a cocktail. 🍸 The performers are absolutely captivating. It's the perfect blend of theater, history, and top-notch libations.
My husband and I got married at Franklin on Penn on December 28, 2024 and cannot recommend this venue enough! FOP was truly everything we hoped for and more. The space is absolutely stunning and created the most romantic, intimate atmosphere for our wedding. The team was awesome with helping bring our vision to life and were so accommodating when it came to every little detail. I had SO many candles and little decor details, and the team made sure every single one was lit and set up exactly how I imagined — it honestly took my breath away when I walked in. Lacey Hohl, our coordinator, was incredible to work with. She went above and beyond in every way. She made the entire planning process so much easier and kept everything running smoothly all day long so that we could enjoy our day. I can't recommend working with Lacey enough, she was seriously an angel! The food was also a huge hit with our guests — people are still talking about it. Everything from the planning to the execution felt thoughtful and seamless. Highly recommend Franklin on Penn to anyone looking for a chic city wedding venue.
